[the TARDIS is quite happy and is about bursting with energy. well-reigned in energy, but energy nonetheless. she's about giddy, honestly]

They aren't attacking any longer. And I've located several survivors who took to the underground. This world ... it's healing. We've done it...!

[smiles brightly] Brilliant! [HUG TIME] I knew I'd work it out! And I'm sure you helped, old girl.

Ah! [surprise!hug! but she returns it~] Of course, Doctor. And I did what I could, though it was more thanks to your quick wit. All I did was scan for life beneath the surface in a desperate attempt to find anything to stave off their attack.

[smiles] But you did help. Couldn't have done it without you. How are they now, then? Treaties or agreements, that sort of thing in the works?

Something like that, yes. [smiles fondly] They've allowed me to take some into my infirmary for check-ups and scans to ensure whatever killed them is indeed gone. You've been off doing ... something or other with the survivors and Charlotte, but you aren't telling me much yet.

I've found playing Columns to be a highly addicting and mindless sort of entertainment for when the Doctor runs off with his companions, but I'm not sure I'd classify that as 'fun.'

We did, indeed. The Master deigned it necessary to decimate the majority of the population in my reality. We're only just now righting that rather grievous wrong.

...how 'bout we go clubbing?

[and he instantly becomes more serious]
