[A flash of red and gold appear on the plane together, the latter looking mildly bemused and the former...well, behind those shades, who can tell?]
Uh, dude. Why are you in my dreams? This is getting creepy.
Well, it does explain a few things. This is your first merger, I suppose.
I would sure fucking hope so. Because if there's more subtle surprising hanging around I might drop over and die. The end of the knight of time as we know it. Finish the game without me bros. I'm outie.
If only it were so simple. You'd find yourself back before too long.
Yeah. It's not a heroic death so I'd rise the hell back up...
[Dave pauses briefly, and seems to realize what he just said]
Wait. What do you mean by that? I didn't tell you about godtier death requirements.
The machine that keeps us here seems to like to keep us alive past our due. But I digress - Shall I assume the new additions to my view are yours? And if so, may I ask how you managed to shatter space?
Yeah that's our shit.
[Dave stops again, turning away from Mu to face the astral sky.]
It's not something we did. That's the big bad we have to stop's fault. He's rampaging around and killing the dead. Don't even try to figure out how he can do that. We're sliding right into redundant lane.
[At that, Mu only raises a browdot. He’s seen enough strange things by now that such a thing doesn’t startle him as much as he thinks it should.]
He’s killing that which is already dead? How strange. [He shakes his head, as if to clear the thought.] Well. If you’re finding your way into my temples, I’d suggest that you take care when entering - Gemini temple is not so friendly, and Cancer suffers a rather poor taste in decor.
It's more like the dream bubbles just happen to be floating through space as we pass through them so I enter that way. I'm actually passed the fuck out and you're seeing my dream self.
...Dream bubbles.
Like I said. I try not to think about it. They're bubbles. Formed by screaming horrible gods that look like red lobster in a horror flick so yeah.
Ah, the addition to my daytime sky. Your world is a strange one indeed.
It's like the crazy cat lady of worlds, I know.
