01 ☠ It's a dead man's party!

[ The Plane has a brand new arrival who is... of the unusual sort. Heels planted in place with bony hands resting on his hips, a rather tall skeleton dressed to the nines is standing there and gazing up above as well as the 'ground' below his feet. A look of amazement was evident upon his skull as he looked around. ]

Extraordinary! Why, I've never seen anything like this! [ There's a beat as he pauses, tapping the side of his skull in thought. ] Well, yes, there was the time I flew the sleigh. But I was no where near to being as close to stars than I am now! This is truly astonishing...

[ The skeleton man then does a little and very brief two-step as he watches the stars below. When he stops he lets out a laugh, his arms thrown up into the air. ] And all of this, hidden within a shop! Why, if I didn't know better, it's almost like the Hinterlands! Almost, but not entirely.

[ It was as if a light bulb switched on in his skull suddenly-- an idea coming to mind. A closed boney fist clapped against the open palm of the other. ] Oh, I know! I should show Sally! And Zero too! I just know they will enjoy a sight like this!

... But how? Hmm.

[ Apparently Jack thinks nothing of this because when he notices Isaac just staring, the dead man is all smiles and cheer as he waves. ]

[Isaac manages not to run screaming.]

[ Maybe it's because it's October back home and Halloween is growing closer. Or maybe it's because he's well aware of the fact that a walking, talking skeleton tends to, by default, scare people in general.

But either way Jack addresses Isaac as if nothing about this situation was strange. At all. Ever. ]

Tell me now, do you live here? This place is terrifyingly astounding!

[In return to the unusual sight that is Jack Skelltingon, there is an unusual sight of Christopher: blood red sclera and a mouth full of fangs. In other words, Christopher looks like he is always going to a Halloween party.]

Hail, friend! Delightful! What a friendly face you have, and seasonal, too!

[Morgana sees Jack, lets out a scream, and instantly pulls her sword out to warily point it at him] What are you?

[WALKING SKELETONS. THEY ARE BAD.]

[Well, alright, just when Hiccup thinks that he had seen everything and anything, this kind of people appear and he loses it a little...]

Wh- wha-- Where is the rest of you...? I mean, I mean-- uh, I didn't want to be rude, b-but you seem that you, um, forgot... your... face... and stuff...

[Congrats Jack; you're the first walking Skeleton that hasn't tried to kill Isaac.]

L-Live here? No way! I just...come and go like everyone else, I guess.

[curiousing]

[ Such a sight would only seem perfectly normal the skeleton man. His response came in the form wave of his hand and a skull-wide grin. ]

Why, hello there! And thank you! I always make sure to keep my skull well scrubbed and polished!

[curiousing]

[ On the one hand, the scream was rather flattering. Such a reaction could be considered complimentary which is what any proud citizen of Halloweentown would appreciate. But on the other it seemed just a little silly to him for someone to brandish a sword at him. The Great Pumpkin knows how often he would disassemble his own bones willing.

Sweeping an arm across his middle, the skeleton man bowed to the woman, a friendly smile to be seen. ]

Jack Skellington, my dear! The Pumpkin King of Halloweentown!

[curiousing]

[ The reactions he has been receiving have only left the Pumpkin King amused and even proud of himself. Just stand there and people are left stammering in fear? Oh he's good. ]

I haven't had a face in--! [ He pauses suddenly in mid sentence to look down at his bony hands, preceding to start counting off his fingers and his mouth silently mouthing the numbers as he does. ]

[ This could go on for a while. ]

[ Huzzah! Quite the achievement! ]

Oh-ho! Is that how this place works? How fascinating!

[Christopher nods very seriously, as if this makes perfect sense.] Well of course! Neglecting the skull wouldn't do well for anyone.

[He hops over at him.] So are you a magical thing or a thing of science?

[Despite Hiccup's viking upbringing, he's not rude, so he just stands there, awkwardly as it could get, biting in his lips as he's waiting for this... man to count the... hours? days? years? ...his fingers? ]

Uuuh, yeah um, sorry it's just, err... I just can't... quite-- W-where do you come fro-- I mean, I-I'm Hiccup nice to meet you, um... where do you come from?
