[ The young man who had been at the Plane previously inspects himself briefly. Satisfied that he's in one piece and not dreaming, he seems content with his finding the Plane again.

He knows he should find Master and the others as soon as possible, but he doesn't want to be a burden so he makes his way to the Information kiosk. He's determined to learn more about this place, and there's something that captured his curiosity that the brochures don't seem to cover. He'll approach the next person he sees, new face or not, brochure in hand, and ask -- ]

Would you know why those flowers in the forest glow? They're not-- poisonous or anything, are they?

[There, now the brat can answer... Next question will be why he seems so happy to be there.]

[ He had just been studying a paragraph on the brochure, and he looks up as he feels the familiar presence, greeting the other with a smile. Despite the occasional teasing, Kiki is happy to see Ikki. ]

Getting myself informed, what does it look like?

I will ask again. Why are you in the Plane again? I thought they had fixed that already.

[Or so they claimed.]

Two of the things I learned during that visit: that on one hand, it was temporary, given that it's a system error; on the other hand a person can come into the Plane-- just like that!

So I came here.

[It should be worth noting that Mu is so very used to Kiki's presence being nearby, that feeling it on the Plane takes more than a few minutes to register as "off."

When it does though, it does so with a small flare of alarm, and Mu is on his feet and looking before he notices the subtle changes between the Cosmo he feels, and that of the little one back home. This is older - more refined, and with it's own clear identity. Vaugely, he remembers the young man he met several weeks ago, almost dreamlike amidst the other memories of that day.

Somehow this seems to make Mu speed up in his searches. The first stop for new arrivals is usually the information Kiosk, so he heads there. Lo, so too is the redhead, and Mu stops several feet behind him, part of his mind still reeling from the reality of this situation.]

You've returned...

[ He should probably be upset, thinking that he had been torn away from his duties that last time. But as the people he had met during his last visit had said, time has indeed halted, and he was able to pick up on those said tasks. Since then, he had been thinking of finding -- going into the Plane again.

Still facing the kiosk, he smiles to himself, feeling the Cosmo of the person he had wanted to see. He turns as Mu arrives. ]

Mm! I'm happy to see you again, Master.

[The look of shock fades to a soft smile as Mu steps a little closer.]

I was afraid you were a figment of my imagining.

I had thought I was dreaming but-- it was just too clear to ignore.

[ Scratch of his cheek. He almost got used to missing Master and not having him around that seeing him now -- again is still too good to be true. ]

'Sides, I couldn't just not try to come back, after learning it's possible to do so.

I can sympathize. At least now, you may catch up on your sleep.

[ That actually amuses him. ] -- there's that, too!

Has it been long since I was here last?

Three weeks, or thereabouts.

Come, walk with me. [He gestures that Kiki should follow him. Mu needs a stiff drink cup of tea.]

That long... [ With the gesture, he makes an affirmative sound -- ] Yes.

[ -- and follows easily. He can't help but look around as they do so, still getting used to the haphazard makeup of the place. ] Has anything happened since then?

And for you, lamb? Time does not always run at the same speed.

Nothing of startling importance. I'm presently away from the Sanctuary, looking for potential trainees.

[not_a_lamb_nor_ram]

That's always a good thing. New blood doesn't come easy. [ He can say that, now that he has seen Sanctuary practically depleted of Saints. ]

It's just been a shy of a week. [ Deep breath. ] Athena's been busy.

That's quite true. It's somewhat easier if you ask the cloths what they look for in a master.

Oh? I've not seen her in some time, though I think Sasha has taken her place by now...

It is -- and sometimes they show the way. [ Wry, but fond. ] They just have to be in the condition to do so--

[ Sasha... the Athena he had met here. That stops him dead in his tracks. ] -- what? What do you-- Master, what do you mean?

[Ikki sighs annoyed, that's a quite simple way of thinking, isn't it?]

How long has it been for you?

[ The statement may be simple, but Kiki sees no need to muddle it up with unnecessary flourishes. Not his style. ]

A week -- though I can't believe it's been a week, it's been quite full. How about you?

Here I think it has been around three weeks. For me, though, it hasn't been even a week.

[At first Saga thought the Plane was going haywire again, but when he sees Kiki at the Kiosk, it is verified that it wasn't a one-day visit.

So the Saint approaches him. The Cloth heels clattering and his cloak waving with every move.]

It seems the Plane didn't let you go in the end.

Patience, Lamb. I will explain shortly, once we're settled with some tea.

[Shion does know Kiki because of Mu. His cosmo feels familiar and it takes Shion only a few seconds to realize that it shouldn't be on the Plane. He does go looking for him then, but he doesn't approach right away when he finds Kiki. Instead he studies the young man, someone so different from the child he is familiar with.]

[ He senses him, even before he hears him, and so he turns to meet the Gemini Saint, pondering at what he just said. ]

... is that how it works? I'd like to think I came here again out of my own accord.

[ Sharp, little nod. ] Understood, Master.

[ Throughout the way, Kiki is quiet, his own thoughts enough to distract him. It feels strange, but familiarly so, walking beside his Master again. ]

That much of a difference, huh?

[ Questioning look. ] Did you... return home too, Ikki?
