[Everything just seems to be going right to hell lately on the Plane, and Eithan is taking issue with this. He's frustrated. Stuck. Not at all sure what to do with himself. ... In all honesty, he wants a cigarette. But, he's been trying to stop giving into that habit whenever life gets too stressful, so no smoking for him. Thank Goddess he happened to find a caramel chew on his dresser. Might as well come to the Plane to enjoy it and have a little time to think, right?

Except... the second he finishes the candy, his entire demeanor shifts. What was sadness and worry before is now gone, replaced with a smirk, and not a kind one. At all.]

Know what? Shit sucks. But who cares? There's a fix. A fun one.

[Hope no one's chilling in the bar... Eithan mutters something, and the windows explode. Loudly. Smoke, shattered glass, singed frames... the works.

And Eithan laughs.]

((OoC: This is what happens when Eithan eats candy that turns him into his worst nightmare... Yep, he's gone evil. Completely loyal to The Order. As a bonus? He also thinks he killed Valerie and all of their friends, and isn't at all sorry. (If you need me, I'll be ;;-ing in the corner) Warning for violent explosions!! He is very dangerous right now, proceed with caution!! If you want your character to get hurt/killed, let me know. ;; /SOBS

[Conan's sure that someone on the Plane is tied to the murders, but knowing that and acting on it are two different things. He's walking the Plane, pondering their options when the sudden explosion of the bar puts an end to those thoughts. Dashing towards the smoking building, Conan opens the door, using a handkerchief to shield his hand -- but the knobs not hot? If it's not a fire -- what is this?]

Is there anyone inside?

[He stops laughing long enough to answer, though he's still grinning, and those fangs seem even more pronounced than usual.]

Eh, I don't know. You goin' in? Seriously?

[Conan turns to look at the speaker. He's new to Conan, and something about his reaction --

Conan's starting to see a trend here.]

Did you see anyone go inside before this happened?

Haven't seen anyone but you around here yet, but I didn't exactly go lookin' inside beforehand. [He shrugs a shoulder.]

[Turning back to the open door, Conan scans the inside of the bar. The smoke is thick and it's impossible to tell if there's anyone in there or not -- he calls again but when there's no response, decides there's nothing he can safely do until the smoke clears enough to see.

With that in mind, Conan fans the door back and forth, hoping to aid the smoke's dissipation.]

What happened anyway?

Just a little of this.

[He holds out a hand, palm upward, and mutters a spell under his breath. A large ball of fire springs to life, hovering in the air and swirling inward on itself. Within seconds, it explodes with a godawful "CRACK!" Eithan snickers, fanning some of the smoke away.]

[Illusion? No -- I felt that.]

You -- did that? But why?

Why not? [He pauses.] Guess I could have waited to see if anyone was goin' in? Might have been more interesting, anyway. More purposeful.

If there's no purpose, why do it at all?

'Cause I'm kinda pissed off right now. Call it stress relief. [Smirk!] And if that's not a good enough reason, then how about why not?

[when Oliver spots Eithan appearing on the Plane, he immediately heads over toward him. he waves, just about to call out to him, but seeing the expression on Eithan's face, he realises something more serious must be going on. he hesitates]

[before he can even ask what's wrong, though, Eithan pops candy into his mouth--and then everything changes. Oliver, in his infinite wisdom, runs toward him as soon as the windows explode. his eyes are wide. seeing the windows of the bar exploding...it brings back memories of explosions that are better left forgotten. he can feel panic welling up inside him, enough to blot out his fear of that change in Eithan's manner--at least for the moment]

Get away from there! Eithan!

[Ha ... he's acting like one of my first grade classmates who has just found out they have to help clean the classroom. Still -- at least he's doing this here and not a crowded world.]

Stress relief? You were worried about something?

[He waves a hand dismissively at Oliver's insistence.]

No way, man. This is somethin' to watch. [That smirk spreads into a rather twisted grin.] Hell, I could always do it again. What do you think, the door this time?

[He takes a deep, exaggerated breath, runs a hand through his hair and shakes his head.]

Nah. I'm feelin' better now. Honestly, I think I should keep this up. Fuck worryin'. I'll just do what I'm meant to be doin'.

[Conan looked back to the broken windows, smoke still curling off them.]

This is what you're supposed to be doing?

What? No! [Oliver runs over, grabbing Eithan's arm. there's no time to deal with the complete change in his personality--not now. Oliver has to keep his friend safe first] It's on fire! What if it explodes!?

That's what I do best.

[He jerks his arm away, holds both hands out in front of him, and begins muttering a spell. A sphere of explosive energy slowly begins to form, crackling and burning, swirling around on itself...]

Eithan, stop!

[he doesn't think before he acts, still in too much of a panic to do so. he grabs Eithan's arm with the fireball over it, hoping that will stop the spell]

[He nods at the smoking building.] It's not Order territory. So it's either against us, or just useless. And therefore, it needs to burn.

What's the Order?

[The sudden movement causes Eithan to trip over his words as he flinches away from Oliver, cutting the spell short. The fire fizzles, compacts around itself, and detonates with a pop not unlike a small firecracker. It results in a lot of heat, a little smoke and a few stray plumes of fire that are put out before they reach the plane floor.

Eithan glares at Oliver.] Well that was fuckin' brilliant.

[HEY HAVE A PSYCHIC! Er, I mean, Mu *was* going to go have a drink after having dealt with Morgana, but now he kinda stops. And stares. At Eithan. Unhappy.]

[If he finds out you're psychic, shit's gonna get real... in the meanwhile, he'll just be smirking, clearly pleased with himself.]

Problem?
