1st Strike [Action]
[There’s a tall, curved blonde figure standing in the plane.]
What the –
[She seems rather shocked. Probably a new arrival.]
Where…how…where am I? A dream…but I didn’t fall asleep…
[The woman is looking around now, taking in the strangeness, and the ever shifting stars.]
That strange shop…what is this? Clare!? Clare, can you hear me? Dammit…
[It doesn’t matter, now, that she has no idea where she is, or how she came to be here from the inn – what matters is that Clare is not with her, and she is unarmed. Spotting someone else, she is in front of them before they can blink, silver eyes coolly focused.]
I take it you know where I am? And how I got here? I would…appreciate some answers.
[Her tone is cool and slightly mocking, no remnant of the panic that was in it just before.]
And also…I’m looking for someone – a little girl, long brown hair and green eyes, answers to Clare. Where is she?
[If anything happened to Clare…there will be hell to pay.]

[He can be just as cold and condescending.]
I do not suggest surprising people in the future. Everyone hails from different worlds. You won't always know what to expect.

Aaaaaaah!!
[He has a sword strapped to his waist, but he doesn't even touch it.]
S... sorry. I haven't seen anyone like that. Um, are you new?

Your little one is where you left her, don't worry.

If she is still in the inn, then how do I return to her? And where are we?
[She doesn't think this man is the one who brought her here - but appearances can be deceiving.]
no subject
Prove it.
[Forgive her for not trusting you, but she doesn't trust you.]

Astral Plane...? I've never heard of this place, or anything resembling it - if I didn't know better, I would think this a dream.
[But it's not. She barely dreams anymore.]
no subject
New...I take it then you now where we are and how we got here?
[And how to get back. To Clare.]
no subject
A simple thought...how?
[Teresa is the Queen of cold and condescending]
Different worlds...like you, I take it?
[That would explain the strange aura...but still...different worlds...she's never even contemplated something like this, not even in her wildest dreams.]
no subject
Just think of home and you'll see.

Sighing in relief, Teresa lays her hand on Clare's head for a moment, relishing in the knowledge that she was here, was safe - and then got out her armor. This time, when she went to strange place with the stars, she would be prepared for anything - and armed.
But how to get back? Well, think of home brought her back to Clare...so the opposite should also work, yes?]
2/2
It worked.
[Shock. But seriously, thank you - she got to check on Clare, and she's armed again, so she's a lot calmer now.]
I suppose I owe you my thanks.

[Answers, she wants them.]

[And meeting point of realities? What does that mean?]
How is this - any of this - possible?

[He isn't bothered. He's the king of apathy.]
Yes. It isn't uncommon to find people you know, but there may be key differences. Different worlds does not exclude alternate ones.
[He is used to it by now.]
no subject
Y-yes, ma'am. [He swallows thickly.] This is the Astral Plane. There's a shop on your world somewhere... You can talk to the people who run this place by asking for them here, or by going to that shop.
Oh, and you can go back just by taking a step and thinking about where you were.
[Awkward grin. She's pretty, but scary as hell.]
no subject
[Back to Clare...think about it huh?]
Hope you don't mind if I test that.
[And focusing on Clare - because wherever Clare is is home to her now - Teresa disappears from the plane for a few moments, only to reappear later, in full claymore uniform, and with the massive two handed sword that gives her sisters and her their name attached to her back.]
You were right.
[She's a lot calmer now, knowing she's not separated from Clare.]
no subject
...I take it that means you are from a world different to mine?
[It would explain why he doesn't react to her obvious inhumanity - everyone in her world knows of the 'silver eyed witches' after all...]
no subject
[They don't have pamphlets in the claymore verse, sorry - but she hears 'explain', and decides to go with it.]
Very well.
[Lead on!]
no subject
[He leads to to the help Kiosk, and procures a copy of the well-written info pamphlet, which he then gives to her.]
If you have any questions, please let me know.

People who come to the Plane are from different worlds and timelines. Why are we here? It remains a mystery.
