[ Here we have one scrawny, brown haired boy known as Tsunayoshi Sawada looking around the area nervously not too far away form the information kiosk. He seems to be talking to himself, but if you look on the ground a foot or two behind him you'll see a nice looking blond haired doll lying on the ground. ]

Th-This isn't too bad Giotto. Look there's even an Information Kiosk, that should be able to help us right?

Right Giotto...?

[ Tsuna finally seems to realize that he's pretty much talking to himself when he turns around and sees the doll lying on the floor behind him. He didn't seem to have any problems moving on the plane because Tsuna was over at the doll, and picking him up in a short moment. ]

Mou Giotto, this isn't funny. You should have told me you were at your limit... [ Shifting the doll to a one armed hold Tsuna concentrated on his free hand. After a moment it started to glow a soft orange, and then was covered in an orange flame. Smiling Tsuna took that hand and pressed it against the doll, watching as the flame was absorbed into it.... Only to have nothing happen. ]

E-Eh..? B-But... [ He repets the process again, and again, and a fourth time for good measure, getting more an more panicked as nothing happens. ] N-No way...

[It takes a moment for Dino to recognize that voice, if only because it was one he had not expected to hear. Then he sees the familiar figure and realizes it wasn't just him imagining things.] Tsuna? [He barely notices the doll, far to shocked about Tsuna actually being here to pay attention to it for the moment.]

E-Eh? [ Tsuna looks up hearing someone call his name still looking pretty freaked out for a bit. Though when he sees who called him Tsuna manages a smile. ] Dino-san! [ He shifts his hold on Giotto to a better one before he trots over. ] Dino-san what's going on? I entered a store and suddenly I'm in this weird place, and I can't get my flame to work right on Giotto...

[Dino grins a bit] So it is you! [He pauses for a second to consider just how to put things.] This is the Astral Plane. You can go back home by thinking about it, time doesn't pass at home while you're here, and this is some sort of experiment... [Then he registered the last bit of what Tsuna had said] Giotto..? [And he finally notices the doll] Hey, Tsuna, why do you have a doll?

Mmhm, who else would it be Dino-san? [ He's gonna blink, and listen to what you're saying, and nod like he knows what you're talking about. Truthfully, he only understands about half of it... ] Mmhm, Giotto. E-Eh? Reborn makes me carry him now... Dino-san should know that, but...

[ He's giving the doll a worried look now, and start getting worked up as he speaks. ] I can't get him into human form though. I-It's like my flame isn't the right type or, or something like that. Th-This is bad right? A-Am I sick or something? I-I've always been a-able to do it be-before!

[Appropriately enough, Satoshi is currently a dollmaker, and he is dressed like a craftsman from the 17th century.] It's good craftsmanship.

[ Please excuse Tsuna's girly yelp, you caught him by surprise. He's gonna hold Giotto closer to him now though, because in the past people interested in his doll aren't usually friendly. ] Th-Thank you? Uhm.. I'm, still in that shop... Right?

I just didn't expect to see you here. [But now Tsuna has made Dino very confused. Reborn making Tsuna carry around a doll for some reason? He can see that happening, but the rest of it is going right over his head] You're trying to animate him using your flames? [He supposes something like that could be possible but he hasn't heard of it happening.] Are you sure that's going to work?

You're between universes. [That doesn't confirm or deny the question. Good job, Satoshi.]

I-It does work! It's always worked! I don't understand why it won't! I-I have to be si-sick or something. D-Deathly sick! Dino-san I don't wanna die! [ Dino might want to start trying to calm Tsuna down, because the boy is going to start flailing, or crying, or something soon because he's so freaked out.

E-Eh..? I don't understand... [ No really he doesn't, and you can tell form the look on his face too. ]

[Satoshi is fighting to keep the secondary personality in check, which is extra-difficult with a doll right in front of him. Thankfully, he has a lot of practice in this.

He reaches for a notebook in his pocket, only to realize: it's not there. Because of this stupid experiment.

A sigh, and then he recites from memory:]

This place is called the Astral Plane. Different 'realities,' that is, universes, meet here. One returns to one's world without any time having passed in that world; accordingly, no one will notice the absence. Further, it is possible to travel between the Astral Plane and one's world at will by thinking of that world; it's an intuitive action.

Your doll is supposed to talk, right? Things like that get suppressed here. He should be fine when you go back.

[Dino has forgotten how bad Tsuna could get, and is torn between worry and amusement. He reaches out to put a hand on Tsuna's shoulder to try calming him down.] Don't worry, you aren't going to die! Take a deep breath and try to calm down while we figure this out, okay? [He's not going to get any straight answers if Tsuna starts panicking]

[ If Tsuna knew you were having a problem he'd apologize, and maybe hide Giotto behind his back so he was out of sight. Because dude you're being nice to him, and he's still not used to people doing that. As it is he's going to blink at you, and nod like he understands what you're saying. ]

But didn't the person in the shop call it a machine? And... Isn't the astral plane somewhere where ghosts live? At least I think Gokudera said something like that...

Y-Yeah, sorta... He's actually supposed to turn human too... A-Ah, he'll be fine then once I'm back home? That's... That's a relief. [ You can probably feel the relief coming off Tsuna in waves he's so happy to hear that. ]

[ Deep breaths Tsuna, deep breaths. Dino telling him he's not going to die seemed to help. Besides Dino usually knew what he was talking about. He was older, and also one of Reborn's targets students. Plus Tsuna really didn't want Dino to see him freaking out more... ]

O-Ok Dino-san. I-Is Reborn around? He might know what's going on... [ Then it dawns on him that this might be Reborn's fault and he deflates. ] N-Never mind, Reborn might have done this himself... Uhm...

There might be other Astral Planes. The Machine is what is supposed to run this place.

[It's supposed to turn human? That is very strange, but Satoshi doesn't comment on it, to better beat back the other personality.]

[Now he's going to have to explain things without freaking out Tsuna more.] I haven' t seen Reborn around here, and I have to tell you that he has nothing to do with this. We're here as part of an...experiment, I guess. People from different worlds are brought here for it.

Reborn's not here? [ Tsuna doesn't know if he should be relieved, or freaked out by that, because Reborn can go anywhere he wants... or so it always seemed to him. When Dino started talking about different worlds Tsuna got a confused look ] Different worlds? D-Dino-san I think you've been reading too many novels...

O-Oh... [ He still doesn't quite understand, but he has the feeling that he just got the simplest explanation of this place... ] S-So... Is this place dangerous?

It is. Some of the people are dangerous, and the place itself can play with people.

[ Congratulations Satoshi! You've just terrified Tsuna judging by the look on his face, new found inability to speak more then one word at a time, and panicky noises. ] I-! Wha-? B-But!

[He has scared a red-headed spazz? Why is that familiar?] Try to find people to help you out in bad situations. It makes it easier.

[ Well it's a brunette this time actually, and now he's hugging his doll closer coming down form his spaz attack. ] Y-Yeah, it usually does.

[ Cue a short awkward laugh ] R-Right, make new friends... Th-That can't be too hard... [ Is Tsuna talking to him self now? Why yes. Yes he is... ]
