08; because when I arrive [I bring the fire]
[The Master is conjuring up buildings with his new-found powers. There is nothing important to him about these structures in the least. They are all sorts of shapes and sizes. Once he has brought forth a vast expanse of buildings, he steps back, conjuring more spheres into existence around him. There are hundreds of them now; he smiles.]
Now, I want you all to have fun. [Fun, for them, means razing the entire area to the ground.] Except for the three of you. I have a special task for you. [he waves the other hundreds off with a dismissive gesture of his hand and they depart, lasers firing into the area as they tear through it.]
You three, follow me.
[And he leaves the rest of them unsupervised as he heads into the bit of Gallifrey that is on the plane. It is not a fondness of memory that makes him venture into the area, simply the fact that he knows it better than other areas on the plane. He needs somewhere quiet, safe, and secluded. He stops outside of a dense grove of cadenwood trees, turning to address the Toclafane.]
Wait here for me to return. No one except myself is to come into this area, do you understand? [Each of the three acknowledge him and take up defense positions.
The Master enters, stopping to attach something to one of the trees. Then he is simply gone, only the spheres and the trees remain.]
[ooc: The master is busy being sneaky. The hundreds of spheres are just a distraction because he needs one to work on what he is creating. You can follow him, of course, but the spheres will try to stop anyone that comes near the area he has gone into. There is no shielding or barrier of any sort to block following him, but there is a perception filter. It will shift your perception so that you don't really notice the area, unless those sorts of things don't usually work on you. I think that's just about everything. >.> Oh, and unless you would like me to offer up the voices for the "kids", feel free to do what you like with them.
EDIT TO ADD: Consider this something like a party post. Tag in, talk to others, try to follow and talk to the Master, whatever you like. The spheres won't go outside of that particular area and anyone that feels like playing with them in the destruction or stopping them from hurting people is free to do so.]

[and soon, he's standing before the three spheres and the trees he very much doesn't want to see destroyed, but already...he can feel something that isn't right, but he ignores it for the time being and focuses on where the Master had disappeared.]
Oh come on, this isn't the way you play Hide and Seek. Especially not with three guards. Gives the whole game away, don't you think? [and despite how light his tone is, he doesn't once take his eyes off the three spheres hovering before him]

he expected something like this, it was why he tried to take certain precautions. he chuckles loud enough to be heard.]
Is that what we're playing, Doctor? I hadn't realized.
[the toclafane are not interested in addressing the Doctor, only watching him to make sure he does not try to enter where the Master has gone.]

O admonishing melody, arise in the name of the Necromancer! Mystic Cage!
[That is a quick move, but without meelee fighters to back him up, he doesn't have room for further casting. He draws out his spear to start knocking away the enemy.]
[Anyone want to help the party mage?]
no subject
Well, we never stop playing, do we? Speaking of, who are your new friends?
[he doesn't move forward or anything; just waits and watches]
no subject
I call them the Toclafane.
no subject
No... They can't be. But they were just a fairytale--! [and definitely are not what he remembers them looking like]
no subject
I thought it suited them. I could hardly introduce them without coming up with something.

[he steps forward now, aiming to go in]
no subject
[And the spheres move in to block his way.]
no subject
[he ignores them and continues forward]
no subject
[The blades extend on the one immediately in front of him.]
no subject
I don't believe you. [a lie]
