[Despite everyone is talking about this 'Christmas' Hiccup is not familiar with, the Plane is neat. No one knows about it (in Hiccup's village), and it can be accessed from anywhere? Handy. Hiccup doesn't even mind if it's one of the jokes pulled by Loki, the trickster god... he is desperate. These are desperate times. If anyone would get him reading that would be-- wait, they already caught him reading numerous times. Such a nice black-eye he got last time. But writing! Now, writing is pretty much different. He wouldn't only get away with a black-eye, he was sure. Snotlout would definitely use one or all of the twenty-two variations of the Facebuster move, for sure.]

Last time the one he named 'Kneeling facebuster' was pretty creative...

[Hiccup mutters as he sits down and opens the book he brought here. It contains information about different species of dragons, and more. Might not cover all the things he is curious about, but right now he is interested in only one kind, so he opens the book there. He already has more info about it than they write there.]

Maybe I should... make that Night Fury pamphlet... Oh yes, because people would read that. But naaah this is a great discovery, others should know about it. Well not about Toothless, of course but about Night Furies, and they get to know them and... see how different they are and can go picking flowers side by side. Charming. [He shakes his head, and gets his little notebook with all his observations about the dragon.] Alright Hiccup, get yourself together and back to reality! Should I write it down here, or not...?

How very interesting. I've been reliably informed that dragons' teeth are a potent tool in spellcasting. I don't suppose you're a wizard?

Uuuggh..! [Hiccups just has to shiver for some reason.] Oh hi, hi um, hello! Er-- Dragons' teeth? Oh, I actually-- that information is, well, pretty new for myself too. I'm doing spells all the time, I wonder how I missed that one... Uuh, no, I'm not a wizard. Are you...?

Well, I personally think you ought to! Especially if it's a discovery! That's what it is all about! Discovery and notion. Well, and possibly dying because of exposure to the things you're studying, that is. But why wouldn't anyone not want to learn about--what was its--ah, that's right, Toothless! Interesting name for a dragon, I might add.

Oh, it's a move where someone, usually the stronger one just gets your face and smashes it to the ground. You are lucky if it has some grass on it, or something soft--- well, softer. And in the kneeling version Snotlout is not standing put kneeling when he makes me eat some dirt. Bigger impact less power, every viking's dream!

[Oh, another viking! Right...? Must be from an other tribe, since Hiccup has never seen her before. She doesn't get his sarcasm either, definitely a viking.]

[Hiccup slowly turns his head to look at the Doctor. Staring at him in shock? Surprise? Maybe some mix of that...]

Er-- Dying? I- er-- Dying?! No, no no no Toothless is a dragon, and they are vikings, they can't match. Only in some battle to the death or until someone's underpants gets fried... And since dragons doesn't wear clothing-- yyyeah.

I would really like to tell them about Night Furies in usual, but they wouldn't use the information to just scare their offspring around the fire, I'm pretty sure...

Whoa-! Okay- Iii didn't see that coming-! [Hiccup gasps at Chenre's friendly curiosity, since this friendly curiosity what could lead into some pretty nasty bloodloss, or burning, or being eaten alive. But right now Hiccup just keeps the book a bit further away from him. Nothing personal, but he likes that book...]

Oh, good I remembered right! [Smiles, and scratches at where he think is Chenre's neck.] I should write about you too, huh? How would you like that?

[Looks up, blinking.] Uuuh. Yes. It's... one of the more than hundred dragon species. Like the... Monstrous Nightmare, Gronkel and the others... Just one of the many furious beasts, not a big deal.

[Chenre stretches his neck up like a cat might and growls contentedly. If Hiccup cares to look, Mu himself may or may not be wandering around in the distance, clearly looking for the little bugger]

A dragon, yeah. We have too many dragons even, little, small, but mostly medium sized. I mean not us, but the place we live at.

Wha- wait wait wait not every world has dragons? [What kind of word that is...? Good? Bad? Boring? Or more exciting? There could be other things than dragons if there are no dragons... Oh wait wait Hiccup people are trying to communicate with you--!]

Um. [Hiccup just glances at Brax, then laughs a bit awkwardly. As far as he knows his suit could be a religious wear for sacrificing newborn babies...]

Eh, you like the book? From my... era? Yeah alright, I just... pretend this is completely normal. Yes. Say, are you a god? Because if so then, um, have mercy...? [God are strange, and have control over time. Maybe. Hiccup doesn't know he never met a god before.]

[At hearing his name, Mu looks over, then seems to heave a sigh of relief as he starts over towards them. Chenre looks over, then pulls away, licking Hiccup's fingers in thanks, then slithers towards Mu.]

I'm sorry if he bothered you at all, Hiccup.

We definitely don't have them! Well, komodo dragons. And I bet other planets do, but wow. That's fantastic!

Oh, thanks! In the name of all dragons I guess... [Smiles a little.] What are the 'kodomo dragons'? They called dragons but they are not one, orrrr....?

Oh oh not at all, he is a great guy! He can bother me anytime. If he bothers me enough I might even get some sketches on him, and get make some observations... So I can write it down in a book what no one will read.

Dragon's just part of their name--they're basically like giant lizards. I mean, not giant--not like a real dragon would be. But...big. [holds his hands in front of him about as far apart as he imagines to be the length of a komodo dragon]

What are your dragons like? You said they're all sizes, but...what else? What do they look like?
