[Oliver is standing out in the open on the Plane. he looks rather nervous and uncertain, fidgeting where he stands, and there's a deep sadness in his eyes. he's been trying for weeks to hide how the recent events made him feel--in fact, he hasn't been on the Plane very much lately because of it. but now, he's made a decision. so he takes a deep breath, then starts talking as loud as he can] Hey, everybody!

I...I don't know if this'll help, but...well, they made it sound like it would, didn't they? And it can't hurt...Not any worse than what's happened already...I hope...

Anyway, Meredith said someone voted for the right person. If we can find everyone who voted for someone other than the Master, maybe we can work out who it is. Or...maybe that person can work that they did it? If they don't already know.

So, if you voted, say something! I'll keep a list of who got voted for.

And...if it was you, but you didn't want to say, or you didn't realise but you do now, say something, okay? Please. As long as we don't know, we might not be able to do...anything.

[stops, his voice catching on that last word. looks down for a moment as he tries to collect himself. he swallows hard, then looks up again] Also... [hesitates, regret flitting across his gaze] If anyone sees Leela, could you tell her I need to talk to her?

Having seen that, a part of me is glad I refrained from voting at all.

[Hello, Asch is popping up behind you. It's not on purpose, really.] So we figure out who did it. What then?

[Box is trying to come to the Plane less too after the events. Being afraid of being stuck again. Not to mention he had seen what they have done to that 'Master' guy and got so damn scared.]

[When he hears Oliver he is hesitant, and drops from the Plane. He doesn't want to talk about it, because then he can pretend nothing happened. Not to mention the last meeting with Oliver wasn't really their best.]

[But after a few minutes he comes back. He doesn't want other people to get hurt. Though he just stands further away, not knowing what to say.]

I am here, Oliver.

[In fact, recent events had forced her to spend even more time on the Plane. She was tired of feeling so helpless. She would not miss the chance to fight back.

She frowned at Oliver's tone, her expression becoming one of obvious concern.]

What is wrong? Has something happened?

[Nathan approaches and awkwardly clears his throat.]

I, uh, might've voted for your pal. That Damon guy.

[He pauses, then crosses his arms.]

But hey! I- I was still, you know, pretty upset... and I had been on a fucking, I don't know, rage to end all rages or some shit like that, then had this bullshit nightmare where I had to fucking fight people in a jungle. So, you know, I felt I could vote for whoever the hell I wanted.

[While his tone sounds somewhat stern and adamant that he could do whatever the fuck he wanted, there's some undercurrent of being unsure and bothered by things.]

[turns at the voice] Hey, Mu. [smiles, but it's a bit of a weak greeting]

You didn't vote? [frowns] I...think I know what you mean.

[turns, surprised, but he quickly recovers] Asch. [looks directly at him at that question. he might not be feeling confident right now, but you don't need to be an empath to see he's at least determined] I don't know. But if we don't figure it out, will anything change?

[catches sight of him there. Oliver remembers their last meeting and how horrible he felt when Box left, but he'd never hold that against him. at the moment, he's far more concerned about his friend] Box? You okay?

[His lips curl. He obviously doesn't like the situation-- torture isn't nice in any circumstance-- but...] Everyone can return to their world now regardless of how they voted. If your objective is to free the person who's being tortured, you'll likely meet a lot of resistance.

[He's trying to cover it up, but he's guilty about something. There is a /lot/ of guilt there.]

Leela! [jumps, turning to her with a rather deer-in-headlights look on his face] N-no. I mean...nothing like that. Just...just hold on a mo'.

[drops from the Plane, returning seconds later with a potted plant in his hands. it's mostly just a pot of dirt right now, a tiny green sprout just beginning to poke out]

Here. This is for you. I know it's not much, but I know you're on Gallifrey now, and it's not like your home, so... [trails off, holding out the plant] I'm... [his voice catches] I'm so sorry, Leela.

[blinks, turning to Nathan. a frown flits across his face at that, but then he smiles sympathetically]

I know. I get it. I...voted for a friend, too.

You okay now?

No. I did not feel that I had enough information to make a proper choice. Now I am quite glad I did not vote in ignorance.

[frowns, feeling that guilt, but he's more surprised by Asch's comment than anything] Resistance? Why? I mean...I know it's the Master, but... We can't just let them do that!

Yeah... [swallows hard] I think I'd feel terrible either way, but...

Anyway. How are you doing?

[Asch looks away.] If he was chosen it's because a number of people voted for him. They wanted to see him suffer like that... whether they acknowledge it or not.

Who did you vote for?

Well enough. Even able to go home, I'm spending most of my time here, for now.

[He grins a bit and gives Oliver a thumbs up.]

Yeah, pretty much. Before you fucking ask, too, yes, I went and saw one of my doctors. [He isn't going to let you be like a concerned mom type, Oliver. Not ever.

And in fact, one could say his appearance implies he's more or less okay: his hair is brushed, his nails are back to being nice and manicured, the fact his clothes aren't a horrible mess...] And they said I was fine, so, you know, I didn't even need to go see them by that time.

[Box purses his lips, and rubs the back of his neck nervously as he nods at Oliver's question. The starry floor is very-very interesting now.]

Sure, fine, everything is fine. [Clears throat.] You?

They didn't want that! Nobody voted because they wanted that!

[hesitates, looking away] My friend Leela. I...it was so stupid...

[curious, as he's been doing the opposite] Why?

I see.

Time at home is running quite slow compared to my perception of it, and has been doing so since I returned from death.

[laughs, relieved to talk about normal concerns] All right, good. I'm glad to hear it.

How's your band?

Fine. I mean...back to normal.

[uncertainly, approaching him] It's clean out here...right?

[doesn't say anything else. it's not a topic he wants to pursue]

[frowns] What do you mean? Like...in slow motion?

[Immediately Nathan's mood switches to the other end of the spectrum and he scowls.]

Murderface and Toki sued me! Like a couple of days after I could go home! [He groans.] "Hey, Nathan, we're schueing you guysch. Yeah, who givesch a fuck that you were schtuck in schpache for a whole month."

So. I, uh. I threw him and Toki out. Or... I put them on band suspension. Fuck them. Fuck those guys. They aren't getting any fucking residuals because they are fucking useless and don't do shit!
