[Somebody is waking up and he's a bit cranky. Seems napping when it isn't wanted does him little good or maybe he didn't get his afternoon snack, who knows. Slowly, one hand going to his head, he sits up in a crouch a moment before he stands.]

Well, seems that was a temporary change in decor then.

[He does a silent, mental once over before cracking his neck from side to side and rolling his shoulders. He surveys the Plane before seeing something-He turns quickly, peering into the darkness looming about. Unfamiliar stars and galaxies whirling around is bad enough, now he's seeing other things that may or may not be there. He tries to drop from the Plane.

Nothing happens.]

Why am I not surprised? [Again, it is more to himself but he decides that staying out in the open is a Bad Idea. He heads towards the kitchen, I'll bet no one saw that coming.]

[John has the bad luck to be sitting at the kitchen, currently gathering supplies to take back with him to the library so that they can begin stocking up]

[The Master scowls a bit and moves to take something out of the supplies already gathered.]

And here I thought I was the only one who raided the kitchen around here.

[Oh, it's you. Jade was just making himself some salmon. All dissection and no food makes Jade a very dead boy and all that.]

How is Lucy today?

[Now the Master might be hovering because, unlike Lucy's fare, that actually looks appetizing.]

I have no idea.

[Jade is ignoring this hovering, in part because it is his fish, in part because he's slightly curious about what would happen if he put his spear through the Master, and mostly because Jade dislikes getting concerned about anything.]

You should always know what your food source is doing.

[He backs off but only to peruse the cupboards for something to have to himself.]

She isn't my food source.

Of course not. [Jade adds some awesome spices to his salmon, because maxing out your cooking abilities is useful for restoring stats to the party.

[The Master finds a jar of preserves, not precisely what he hoped for but it will do. Opening it will bring a surprise though, he actually decides to get a spoon to eat it with (gasp!).]

I'm certain she was less than entertained by my lack of enthusiasm in regards to her cooking. [Which means he doesn't expect her to be around, least of all in the kitchen.]

[Jade flips the salmon over in the pan with one of those fun swooshes ofthe pan, just because it's fun.] You should cook.

[He eats a spoonful of the preserves thoughtfully.]

I hardly think now is the time to be doing that.
