Indeed. Homosexual and gay are synonymous; well, unless you take a more archaic definition of 'gay', definition 'happy', but that isn't the case.

I'm still waiting for Mr. Tyler's opinion on the matter. As a 'good friend' of Gene's, he ought to know best.

Plenty of homosexual men have taken wives - and considering the time era Mr. Hunt is from, it's a common practice. Homosexuality isn't widely accepted in the 70s. For someone in his position, if he is gay, having a wife would benefit him by assisting in keeping any suspicion from him. If he was accused of homosexuality, he could say he had a wife, for example, even if he was gay.

Hm, I think he seems pretty asexual to me. He can be awfully rude to women, so I don't think he likes them, but he's rude to men as well. So neither.
