[Kuhn is standing around, minding his own business, trying to figure out where the heck this shield is suddenly doing in his possession. But hey, it's a shield, right? Perhaps it'll come in handy.
He hears something behind him. Something... squishy-sounding?
He whirls around, confronted by a blob of... oh God he doesn't even know but ew, and it's coming right at him. With a yelp, he pulls out his bayonet and takes a shot. No real effect.]
Eheheh, uh... ... crap.
[And he runs! Or, well, he tries, but it's already in too close. It stretches its oozy body and engulfs him whole. Kuhn flails and squirms and tries to yell for help, but he finds himself losing his breath, gasping for air instead. Damn, is this really how it ends...?!
PTHOOEY!
The like-like squish-slides itself away, leaving Kuhn behind in a puddle of ooze. No more shield.
Don't mind the blue-haired steam gunner, he'll just be lying on the floor of the Plane, staring wide-eyed upwards as he tries to get his breathing pattern back to something resembling normal.]
