He seems to be in a decent mood, although his cloth is scratched and scuffed and cracked in a few places. He's also holding his gut with his free hand but HE'S FINE!]

[Shion has sensed the unsteady flicker of Mu's cosmo. It doesn't take much for him to know that something is very, very wrong here.] ...Mu? What is it? What's happened?

[Emil turns to see Mu in a Bit of Trouble. In a moment he's himself again and trying to support Mu, trying to stop him, keep him there, keep him close so that maybe he doesn't have to fall and not get up.]

Mu! Mu, what happened!? Y-you're bleeding, I-I— hold on, maybe I can find Marta. Just sit here for a minute and...

[Absolute relief floods his voice, and he grabs Shion's shoulders.]

Shion! Where are you now? At home? Where's Athena?

I'm afraid medicine will be of little help to me now.

Emil-- Emil no, don't. Just relax. [He's holding on to Emil's wrist to keep him from bolting]

[Emil freezes where he is and stares up at Mu with those huge green eyes.]

M-... Mu... You're hurt. You'll... if you don't get help, you'll—!

[He bites his bottom lip, but falls silent and simply nods.

Alright. [Mu adjusts his weight a bit so his knees don't give out on him.]

You need to find Shion. He wears armor similar to mine. You need to find him and tell him that no matter what's happening, he needs to wait for Dohko.

[He takes a deep breath. The shock and horror in his eyes is slowly replaced with a determined expression, though beneath it is sadness.]

[Then his bottom lip trembles, threatening to undo his whole being. He clasps Mu's hand tightly as if that will heal him on its own.]

[And it's like a string that was holding him up just snaps, and he suddenly sags against Emil quite heavily.]

I'm past the point of return Emil. It's alright. [He squeezes Emil's hand back a little bit as he speaks.]

[Oh God. Mu is so sweet, and all Emil can do is sit there and stare like an idiot. He can't even help heal, not like Raine can. Emil trembles, fingers clutching at Mu's armor for purchase.

He can't think of what to say so he just apologizes like no tomorrow.]

[His voice is getting quieter, and his body is getting slightly warmer as his Cosmo fires unconsciously, trying to keep himself alive just a few minutes longer.]

[He's flat-out crying now.]

But... but... I... I wanted to thank you, too. Even when I denied it... I denied everything... There's something really wrong with me, but you and Marta and the Doctor and Roxas, y-you made it okay again. [Manly sobbing? Quite possibly.] I want to believe you'll be okay, too.

W-when this is all over, I'll make you anything you want. It doesn't have to be sweet s-since I know you hate sweet stuff. [He tries to breathe and it comes out like a squeak.] A-and we'll train maybe, and play with my monster friends... so you have to come back! You definitely have to come back!

[Now he's even more worried] We're still on board the ship, Lady Athena is with us. What happened? Did more Specters attack? You're wounded...you need to rest! [Part of his mind has started to register how badly Mu is hurt but he doesn't want to believe it just yet.]

[Mu pats Emil's hands as best he can, which isn't so well at the mo'. A little bit of blood is starting to bubble up from his mouth now, and his eyes droop. Mu can't help but think of how strange this seems to him. He never expected to be wept over.]

I'll...I'll look forward to it. Maybe some momos...

Never mind me, Shion. Wherever you are, you have to stop. You need to wait for D--nng!

[And with that, Mu's legs lack the strength to hold him up any more. Brace for impact!]

[His hand squeezes a bit tighter as his eyes droop closed. Mu takes a few breaths, and for a minute it seems like he just fell asleep. But one breath seems a bit deeper than the rest, and when he exhales it, so too does he exhale the last of his life.

His hand goes slack.]

[Emil stares, wide-eyed, as Mu goes limp in his arms.

He can't find any words after that, seeing as... the last people to die in his arms were his parents. He pulls himself as close to Mu as possible, and without caring if someone hears him, just screams out of rage and grief. The sobbing comes afterward.
