[Sirkka looks upset. No, more than that - one can almost feel it if they approach, a potent aura of guilt and dismay. She realizes what she's doing and turns it down a few notches, but it won't serve to make her feel any better. She finds herself curling up beneath a big leafy tree, bare feet digging into whatever earth Amaterasu left behind.

It's not that she wants to be left alone. Quite the opposite, actually.

She already feels alone right now, at home. And that's why she came.]

[The bag slung over her shoulder carried her notes and books from home. Originally she had been on her way to the Library for research but the occasional distraction was always welcomed, even if Ai didn't think that to be true.]

No. [A little blunt, yes, but her tone is a tiny bit kinder when she adds-] I was only wondering if you were all right.

[Kuhn spots her, frowns and makes his way over.]

Hey there. [He kneels in front of her.] What's a gorgeous woman like you doing looking so sad?

[The line is cheesy. Incredibly so. Meant to provoke a laugh more than to actually attempt flirting. He legitimately sounds (and is) concerned, worried and friendly.]

[Mu is wandering by, but slows as he sees her. There are probably massive psychic pings coming from him at the mo'.]

[stopping by the woods on a starry evening, Braxiatel looks down on Sirkka, his enforced shields protecting him as much from her aura as they protect him from revealing anything he's feeling at present]

Sirkka. Offering tea twice would be a bit uncreative, I imagine?

[She blinks, then smiles down at her feet; it's not a completely honest smile.]

I'm okay. I'm just having one of those moments where everything happens at once.

[Okay, that is actually sort of adorable, and Kuhn succeeds at making her laugh. It's weak, but it's there.]

[There are, and it kind of strikes her dumb for a second before she throws up a barrier of sorts - just enough to keep her emotions from bleeding into his, or vice versa.]

A few things, but they'll turn out eventually. I'm just... tired of it right now. [She rubs at her temple.] We're not helpless, are we? There has to be something we can do. If not individually, together we can accomplish... something. God.

I can't stand feeling any more children get killed.

I'm wondering that myself. I've seen people speaking to the fellow in the Cravat during the matches. Perhaps I will follow suit when they begin again.

That would be a good idea if you can stand getting close to that place. I'm afraid I lost my temper the first time we met, and any other attempts at speaking to him will probably end the same way. It's not very mature - I understand that - but at this point I don't think I can manage anything better. [At least she's honest.]

That's true. [She dusts herself off.] Unsweetened is fine. I'm not sure I can eat too much right now, but - maybe I can get biscuits from the kitchen... I'm not imposing too much, am I?

[He smiles a little - he likes making people laugh - but goes back to concerned!frowning when she mentions the end of the world.]

[She blinks, and recalls her conversation with Oliver about how damn richawesome Brax is.] ... Oh. You don't have to do that.

Both. [Her smile still takes the edge off.] But it'll be all right at home, I think. I just need to give it time.

The fighting... that's... that's going to take all of our willpower. If we can even formulate some sort of plan.

[He'd like to pry, ask what's going on in her world, but he knows now isn't the best time. He leaves it alone.]

The Colosseum, right? [He sighs.] That barrier... I can't get past it. I can't get anything past it, either. I tried throwing stuff. Didn't work. [Sheepish, "whoopsie?" half-smile] I don't know much about real magic and barriers, but... I don't think that one's going to come down from just brute force.
