[Today, Argentine is seated at a grand piano playing away. The melody is surreal and haunting, throwing itself between emotions and never seeming to stick to one longer than a minute. It isn't a familiar song and occasionally it simply drifts off into something that doesn't fit with the part that came before it in the slightest.

Really, he's making it up as he goes along and so the song is endless.

He does, however, seem to be very into his music, almost in a trance. His eyes are half-lidded as his gloved fingers move over the keys with swift ease.]

{Diva smiles as she approaches}

It's really lovely.

[Satoshi leans against the piano, deciding to wait it out a bit to see where Argentine takes this.]

[she almost speaks up but then bites her lip and stops herself as he seems wrapped up in what he's doing, so she just listens]

[Though he knows Satoshi is there, that just encourages his playing. It becomes more even in Satoshi's presence and eventually more chaotic until it drifts off into a soothing ending. His fingers rest on the keys and he glances up expectantly.]

Not bad. [Satoshi glances over the keyboard.] Why did you decide to play?

['Not bad' is better than any praise he got from the Creator, so.] A Maiden wanted to hear me play.

[Argentine looks up, the song continuing, though he plays quieter notes now.] Do you enjoy music, Maiden?

[A small smile comes to his face as he plays, with more passion and a flair of an ending before he looks up at Rose.] Did it please you? I promised to play music.

[logical problem...] I don't see any Maidens here.

[He smiles.] She will be here soon.

I love music. It's my whole life.

{She sits on the bench next to him} I sing, mostly, but I've learned to play some instruments as well. You're very good at the piano.

Which one?

Rose. A perfect name for any Maiden of beauty.

Thank you. I was concerned my music would still not be appreciated by humans. What do you sing?

The one who helped you with fairytales?

Oh, no, it's lovely, I promise. But I guess you're not human, then?

But I mostly sing opera.

[and her smile gets bigger and she can't help but laugh at the flair at the end, more out of delight than anything funny] You did promise, just didn't expect for you to play like that! You're fantastic, that was just...

[and her smile becomes more restrained, but still very impressed] Thank you, I loved it.

[Emil watches Argentine molest the piano. He's never actually had the opportunity to stop and listen to music-- or at least, not recently. Actually, he can't remember ever going to a concert or a play or listening to someone playing a guitar.

Odd, considering that Palmacosta is a trade port.

The music is odd, but it's pretty at the same time, so he just sits there and watches.]

[a nod.] She is very knowledgeable on such things.

[Argentine has a genuine, small smile on his face by the end. He bows to her, not lifting his head as he speaks.] It was played for a beautiful maiden, so it shouldn't be anything but beautiful.

No, I'm not. [But it is brushed off.] Opera is beautiful. I have missed much of the developments of it. If there is a piece you enjoy, however, I would be happy to play it for you to sing along.

[Argentine stops after a few more minutes, the song tapering off into a nature end. He looks up at Emil and there is a slight curiousness in his tone.]

Did you enjoy it?

[laughs] You really are a right charmer.

There is something about gaining the love of a maiden which holds special sway of certain works of art. Though I am complete now, I still feel I should be courteous.

Now if only more blokes were like you.
