Ne, it seemed like a fine idea. I didn't mind working for someone they asked me to work with, and I thought that at least it wouldn't be a problem, but no, of course not. Arnould Rousseaux--just an angry, bitter old man. A rude, angry and bitter old man.

{Diva is lugging...well, luggage out of her mansion on the Plane. She has recently relocated herself, so instead of paying to have luggage shipped overseas, she did the smart thing and just decided to keep it on the Plane! But now she's taking all of it out of the house so that she can take it back to her reality with her all at once. That's the easiest thing to do, anyways.

The only problem is, she's feeling a bit peckish, so she sits on her suitcase after it's safely out of the mansion.}

It's such a boring little town, though, Verzenay. I know that I said I wanted to live somewhere where I wouldn't be recognized, but I wanted somewhere with its own hospital, at least...But I guess it's good that I'm finally somewhere else. It is really pretty...

{After a pause, she half-whines} Ne, would anyone here mind letting me have some of their blood? I promise I won't take a lot. It's just that taking a plane was a really bad idea after all. I hate flying!

[lifting his eyebrows] Kinky. Well, the blood transfusions do a human a great deal of good. Can't see why they wouldn't feed a vampire well. Unless Rassilon put anti-vampire proteins in our blood, which is entirely probable, knowing him.

Oh, well, transfusions are fine. They just don't give me as much energy as when I take it myself, for some reason. I only meant that it's not a good idea for me to bite your wrist instead of the neck.

{But she frowns at that last part} You're joking about the Rassilon thing, right?

I would like that. Ne, this is why I really hate not having lots of blood to drink. I can't imagine how humans would like being this weak all the time.

That would definitely be suspicious, though. I'll just have to find out where the nearest hospital is, and...Well, I guess I'd have to walk there at night, wouldn't I?

I...wasn't sure if - but I thought you might. Like them, I mean. [inside are a handful of Honeyduke's blood-pops, which look exactly like regular red lollies, until the scent gives them away]

There was blood involved, here and there and among the half-human, half-vampire creatures they made as servants. But the Great Vampires just sucked up the lifeblood of whole planets. Anyway, I think I heard a story once about a Gallifreyan getting his blood drained by one of the servants. I wouldn't worry about it.

I did! Since Crane and Arkham both left, there really wasn't any need for me to stay. So...I didn't. But I decided to take some advice Sam gave me a long time ago.

I moved to a little town in France called Verzenay, but...Well, I'm sort of starting over. I only have enough money to get myself a house and live on for a little while, so I'm going to try and find a job. Living simply, like Sam said. It's already a pain! I miss my servants already!

{Frowning} Well. The people that helped me leave the country did find a wine dealer that was willing to help me find somewhere to stay and maybe give me a job, but he's such an angry old man that I don't think I could stand it. I'll look everywhere else before I go back to him.

But I would like that. It's...a lot to do. I've never had to really live on my own, so I'm not really sure about everything I need to do. It's all hard, isn't it?
