[Somewhere on the Plane, a TARDIS is faintly singing: it's a pleasant, lilting song that borders on telepathic and is unmistakably alien. The machine herself is located on the Plane's 'floor', next to the Markarian Chain of galaxies. Despite her unusually rapid growth for a TTC, she is in a state that can kindly be described as "not quite finished".

The exterior dimensions and the interior architecture have not been formed yet, leaving the raised, hexagonal dais the most prominent feature -- and the most important, as the TARDIS's heart is located within it. Spread around the silvery column are the circuits and parts that still need to be integrated into the main console, enabling both flight and time travel.

Omega is currently ducked under the console, sorting out the wiring with deft (and surprisingly gentle) hands. He's forgone the usual Gallifreyan robes for a much more practical coverall, and seems rather calm, if intent on his work. He is an engineer, after all, and he has missed his work. And the sooner his TARDIS is time travel capable, the sooner he can leave that old fool Ertikus behind.]

[the Doctor stops a good distance away, merely admiring Omega's work for a moment, and remembering why he he's looked up to this particular Founder for so long, despite everything. He doesn't interrupt -- instead, he sneakily sets a small package near the TARDIS, and drops off the Plane again. Inside, if Omega cares to open it, is a sonic screwdriver and a banana.]

[Oh, Doctor. Omega does notice Nine's little gift, but ignores him until the other Time Lord drops form the Plane. He eyes it with some suspicion, but opens it at the TARDIS's urging, and rolls his eyes at the contents. Still, he pockets the screwdriver, and leaves the banana sitting on the console for now -- at least he's being given something useful.]

[it's a phallic alien fruit? :D? also possibly toxic, or genetically mutated. it might even be sonic. Who knows, it was grown at the site of a weapons factory that went boom. :|]

[He's psychically deaf to both pilot and ship, but he can recognize a TARDIS when he sees one being built in front of him. Rather than commenting on the discovery that Omega killed the Doctor, Braxiatel stands a polite distance away]

I shouldn't be surprised to see such work from the first among engineers. Do you need any assistance?

[Omega takes a moment to finish a piece of wiring, before looking at Braxiatel mildly.]

I was unaware that your expertise extended into the creation of TTCs.

[considers this for a moment, then nods, offering him the screwdriver that the Doctor left for him.]

[looking at it with mild surprise] I didn't realize you shared the Doctor's tastes.

[Omega tweaks a few wires under the console, then cocks his head as the TARDIS's singing changes pitch slightly. Satisfied with the result, he turns back to Isaac.]

I assume you have never encountered a TARDIS before?

[amused laughter] Was it? I suppose he must think you need more potassium, Omega! Have you been experiencing hypertension?

[scowling] No. It is merely one of his irrelevant obsessions. I only assume that he included it to let me know that the package was from him.

Because the screwdriver apparently wasn't signature enough. [with a completely straight face] It isn't to us to fathom the ways of madmen.
