[Isaac is revved up! He's pacing up and down the Plane, shaking out his arms and legs, stretching as he goes along. He's full of energy and looks about as excited and unabashedly hopeful as he did when he first got on the boat way back when. Babi's death is still bugging him, but nothing is going to stomp out this kid's good mood right now.]

Still an hours walk away, but it's really really big. I think it's bigger than Mercury or Venus.

Seeing as it's called the Jupiter Lighthouse, I'm not surprised. There isn't an Earth or Mars one though?

After this, we just need to stop them from lighting Mars lighthouse. I think it's up north aways.

As long as I have the Mars Star, Mars Lighthouse can't be lit.

It's the Mars Star. It's like...I don't know. It feels like concentrated Psynergy. [He's rolling it around in his hand a bit]

Psynergy, huh? [frowns as he looks at it] Can you do anything with it now? Does it grant you any sort of power?

Yeah. Garet says he feels something when he holds it, but he's a Mars Adept. It just feels warm to me.

Ohhhh, I see. [out of curiosity, he reaches out and touches it] It feels warm to me too. [but he wonders whether that is from the contact with Isaac's hand or not, but hey, it seems neat all the same]

Really? Most normal people can't sense psynergy at all...but this is an elemental star, so maybe...

What does a Mars Adept do? Can he take that and make fire shoot out?

Garet doesn't need this to make fire. But he can do it, the same way I can make the earth move around.

Yeah! I guess it never came up. He doesn't really do 'Small' when it comes to Psynergy, but he tires out a lot faster than the rest of us.

[Isaac pops off, then comes back with a small circle of earth about 10 feet in diameter. He stands at one edge, seems to focus for a minute, then lifts his arm sharply. As his arm lifts, so too does a large spike of the earth.

How'd you discover you were one? Rose your hands up in the air one day and the earth moved too?

Almost everyone in my hometown is an Adept, actually. There's a huge psynergy stone in the area, which is why we develop it.

Well, Vault was about a day's walk away, and nobody there had ever heard of it.

Of course not. That's part of your world. Just like how the only magic we have in my world are things like optical illusions and card tricks.
