๑ second encounter

[Hi there, Plane. Chivy's been having a rough couple of days which isn't entirely his fault and the town he's in doesn't take kindly to people sleeping on park benches, so he's decided to catch a few z's on the Plane. He's curled up around his knapsack, and he didn't even bother getting out the blanket he keeps with him for the purpose (or taking off his spiffy new gloves*).

Unfortunately, as is the way when you're exhausted, he's having some trouble falling asleep.]

Jus' a little while, won't even notice. 'n then I can find a... mm. Yeah. [He pushes at the bag so that it's less pointy and more lump and tries to find a more comfortable position.]

((* - Chivy's gotten himself a pair of cold-infused gloves which are strikingly similar to Sefton's cold-infused shoes. They're black, fingerless, cold-to-the-touch, and have little blue stripy bits on them.

He's not supposed to be wearing them as often as he is, since they're rather draining, energy-wise, but... good luck telling him that.))

[Chivy is trying to sleep and does not see you, prickly. He would appreciate your stare if he knew of it, I'm sure.]

[Chivy sits up and blinks at Kuhn. After juuust a little too long:]

Yeah, just.. kinda tired.

Ah. Alright then, just checking. [Bit of a smile] Want a pillow?

[Naminé spots Chivy from afar and, concerned goes to get a closer look. When she notices how tired he seems, she thinks for a second... and poofs off of the Plane.

When she reappears, she has a pale blue blanket, and she goes over to drape it on top of him with a small smile.]

There. Everybody. ^^;

[And here's Marta, wondering why people just curl up on the floor with nothing when they can bring blankets and pillows and stuff with them here... Well, no matter.

But, she knows that tossing-and-turning routine for what it is. She goes over and squats down next to him, arms around her knees.]

Trouble sleeping?

[crouches down by the kid, concerned] Hey, uh...I could get you a proper pillow, if you want.

[He flinches in surprise when he feels the blanket, and blinks up at her.]

Ah— Thanks.

[Chivy has most of an excuse, anyway, he doesn't actually have a pillow.

He sits up partway and smiles sheepishly]

Kinda, yeah. It's.. been a long day.

[She giggles juuust a bit at the flinch, good-naturedly of course, and nods.]

No problem. I hope you sleep well. Do you want anything else?

Yeah, I know how you feel. Does your world have anything that helps with sleep?

Sleeping, see? [Or at least lying down with his eyes closed, which should totally count and excuse him from whatever is causing the current 8| face.]

[He rubs at his eyes and sits up, smiling tiredly at Oliver.]

I'm not sure a pillow'd help, but thanks for offering.

[Thaaat doesn't make any sense, which is enough to make him actually open his eyes.]

[ Gives a small nod to the gloves. ]

[Chivy frowns, first at Sefton, then his hands, and then back to Sefton again.]

I'm getting used to them.

You have one?

Shouldn't fall asleep with 'em on.

Not really. I mean, there's lots of things people do, but they don't always work.
