~ Seven ♥ Hearts ~

[Naminé is standing on the plane, holding one of the glowing spheres cupped in both hands, close to her chest. She's looking down at it curiously, almost like she's not quite sure what it is she's holding.]

They're... beautiful. They're stars, aren't they? [She smiles softly.] They do look like stars, at least. If you could hold one in your hand.

[She falls silent again, her gaze still focused on the star. After another quiet moment or two, she closes her eyes. Thinking. Wishing. She concentrates so deeply that she doesn't even notice her lips moving slightly, very faintly mouthing the words she's thinking over, and over, and over again...

And it explodes. It's nothing loud, and certainly nothing dangerous. The star has become a cloud of glittering golden dust, and when Naminé opens her eyes, she's back to smiling again. She laughs, although quietly, and just watches the dust disappear into the air.]

[Watching just a little bit away is Ai, who is unable to help the surprised look on her face. This place is still going to take some getting used to after all.]

[She turns to Isaac, still laughing a bit.] Isn't it pretty?

[She blushes a little, tucking her hair behind her ear - you know, it's almost embarrassing to admit it. Almost.]

I... made a wish. On a star.

[Shion has been busying admiring and being puzzled by the stars. He stops when he sees Namine, recognizing her then starts in surprise when he sees the star turn to dust. He tries to say something, but what comes out of his mouth is an incoherent garble of sounds. He quickly shuts up, embarrassed.]

[Naminé recognizes Shion immediately and gives him a huge smile, waving.]

Shion! Have you seen the stars?

Though, the sparkles were just as pretty! I wonder if I can get some of the others to do the same...

[She nods, goes over to pick up one of the stars...

... and it immediately dissolves into golden dust, without her even thinking of anything. She frowns momentarily, but that fades into a smile when she understands.]

One wish per person. [She giggles a little.] Of course, that's fair.

[Shion stares at the star then closes his eyes a brief look of concentration crossing his face. The star explodes into golden dust and he opens his eyes in surprise.] Huh. Odd. [He blinks as he realized what he just did then says slowly]

...It actually worked?

[She blinks, then smiles even bigger.]

Oh? It came true already? [No, she hasn't noticed that you've been silent for some reason other than you just don't talk much. :x Oops?]

[He slowly smiles when he realizes he can actually hear her.] ...Yes. Perhaps some good can come of this place after all.

You're probably right. But... for me, it's always been a good place. This is the only place I can see my friends right now.

My friends from my world. They've been away for years now, saving the other worlds from the Heartless. This is... the only place we can see each other right now, until they come back home.

Heartless are creatures born from the darkness in people's hearts. They attack people and steal their hearts as well, and then more Heartless are born from it.
