[Look who's back after his epic battle! And just waking up, it seems. His abdomen, back, and arm are all bandaged (rather poorly, thanks to a certain Founder), but he's healed enough so that blood isn't pouring out of his wounds. His nose looks a bit more bent out of shape than usual.

The Doctor tries getting off the bed he brought with him from the TARDIS medical bay and wandering around, but after a few failed attempts, he decides to rest for a bit longer instead. He's still glancing about, though, hoping he'll catch sight of Emil.

And yes, he is entirely shirtless (and jacketless) despite the chilly weather. And y'know. The snow. But this hasn't seemed to occur to him yet.]

[have a River, arms crossed]

I'd be careful if I were you. There are just some things that are not meant for frostbite.

[looking at him curiously, but not offering to help] I thought so. Emil?

[he would cross his arms too, if it didn't hurt]

Not worried about frostbite, thanks. I've got a body temperature of 15 degrees Celsius, y'know.

[blinks] Was that his name? Never got it. But if you mean the blond kid with the sword, then yeah.

[Say shirtless, and Jim appears!] -Are you all right?

[a quick glance at his ears]

I suspected.

[of course she does. have a chuckle, and then a wince] 'Course I'm alright. It's only a flesh wound. [a few flesh wounds, really, but the reference was too good to resist]

[eyebrow] Yeah? Who're you, then?

[Unfortunately for the Doctor, Jim doesn't get the reference.]

That doesn't look very minor.

[have a somewhat sheepish look from Nine]

I've had worse? Relatively speaking?

[with a flash of a grin she extends her hand]

River Song. Archeologist.

So have I, but that wouldn't stop my chief medical officer from yelling. May I have a look?

[She has field medical training! She's no Bones but she can probably do a better job than Omega did.]

[he shakes it, returning the grin] The Doctor. But something tells me you already knew that.

[There would be a Romana here with a coat hanging over her arm --how did she know? She just does-- when she approaches.] Even a Time Lord can get a bit chilled.

[smiles, taking the coat. might not be his usual, but he puts it on anyway, after a bit of difficulty] You've got a point. How've you been, Romana?

[shrugs] Couldn't hurt, I suppose.

{Time Lord blood is Diva's favorite!!}

Ah, let me guess! Did you meet sweet little Emil too?

{Smiling}

Looks like you got into a pretty good fight.

[no blood for you, Diva :|]

Unfortunately. Not the first time I've met him, though. Fought him in the onsen, too, but I won that one.

[grins] I did, yep! [pauses] Speaking of, you haven't seen a sword laying around the Plane anywhere, have you?

I would say better than you seem to be. [hands resting on her hips] What happened to you this time?

He's an angry little boy, isn't he?

I haven't exactly been looking for one. Did you drop it?

A sword fight happened! [does he seem pleased about this? maybe :|] Thought I'd take a peek around for the bloke who -- [and he stops, looking rather disoriented for a moment]

That's a bit of an understatement.
