[stares at the sights around him, mouth wide open. for a moment, just turns in a slow circle, taking it all in]

Wow! I mean...wow! [his shock begins to shift to excitement, his features lighting up eagerly] Where is... [calls] Doctor! Doctor, I know you're out there somewhere. I don't know how you did it, but...look at this place! [waves his hands, as if somehow indicating the details of his surroundings. he does at least have the presence of mind to wave at the bar specifically] And what is that doing in space? Or wherever this is! It's space, but...[stomps on the ground a bit]...definitely not.

[frowns thoughtfully as he continues to look around] I thought... [trails off, then starts again, to himself] I mean, I saw this before, but I thought... [scratches his head] But it was the same... Was that not a dream?

[looks up again, his excitement giving way to confusion and a small note of concern] Doctor, come on. Where is this, and why are we here? What am I doing here...

[pauses, then smiles wryly] If this is some big accident, you are going to have to tell me eventually, you know!

[a 16-year-old rich bastard turns up, suddenly approaching you from behind. he leans casually on your shoulder, gesturing with a free hand.] An accident, huh? What if it was?

[jumps like a foot--WHERE DID YOU COME FROM!?]

Whoa, hey! [and he can't help but ask] Are you like, the cheshire cat of the place? Where is this?

Do you really want to know? [eyes him, looking Oliver up and down. hmm.] Interesting clothes. What kind of material is this?

[do you have to ask?] You did sorta appear out of nowhere, you know.

[raises an eyebrow at him] Wouldn't you want to? [and that question totally caught him off-guard] Uh...I don't know. Synthetics, I guess.

Hey, so did you! Everyone does here. See? [drops from the Plane and reappears a moment later]

So what was that about synthetics? Doesn't look or feel like any kind I've ever seen.

[stares, too distracted to answer your question] What did you just do?

[shrugs nonchalantly, keeping a very innocent smile on his face] Just went home real quick.

What do you mean, "went home"?

Tokyo, Japan. And you're not from around here either, are you? Not with those clothes.

Uh...kinda hard to say, since I still don't know where "here" is.

Ah, that's easy. This is the Astral Plane.

Yeah, yeah, 'course it is. Still, that's gotta be a long way from this place...right?

Well...I'm not too sure about that, actually. [he's still trying to place your weird accent] You visited a shop, right? And there were people called Meredith and the Twins?

[blinks at you--he didn't think that was real. then again, he is in the same place he saw...] Yeah, I did. Is that how I got here?

Must be. This place is very strange. You know, I've met aliens and people who can do magic here?

[sighs dramatically] And all I can do is just seemingly appear out of nowhere and scare people.

Aliens? [he might sound a bit excited at that]

[blinks, surprised at his sudden change in manner] Well, I'm sure that's not all you can do, uh...you know, I didn't even get your name. I'm Oliver.

Yeah, someone named Omega with a floating box he called a stellar manipulator. Very weird.

[oh, but it's all an act--usually! he perks right up] Oliver, huh? I'm Hitachiin Kaoru. You can call me Kaoru if you'd like. [holds his hand out]

Oh. [can't hide his disappointment] Only somebody named Omega, huh?

Yeah, nice to meet you, Kaoru! [shakes his hand vigorously] So uh...what else can you tell me about this Astral place?

Hold on, where are you from, hmmm? I can't place the accent, but I'd hazard a guess that you're from the United Kingdom, right?

Ah... [he was hoping the Doctor would be here, but Omega definitely isn't his sort of alias]

Yeah, I'm from Birmingham--in England. [he might sound a bit sad, just for a second, but he quickly covers it with a question]

So uh...what are we here for, anyway?

[addressing his teddy bear] My Lord, Aloysius, but there are quite the variety of people here, aren't they? Extraterrestrial beings, individuals from future times, and now, people from Birmingham.

[Sebastian walks up to Oliver, keeping his cheery smile, and holds out his hand] I rather suspect that all of this is on purpose as far as someone is concerned, though it isn't me. How do you do?

[oliverplus]

[sort of...looks at him for a moment. he's just appeared somewhere unknown in space, and somehow there's a posh bloke there. a posh bloke who talks to teddy bears, even. this is almost too much. but he has to admit, it's nice to see someone who reminds him of his home country]

[shakes his hand] Hey, nice to meet you. You don't happen to know who's doing this or why, do you?

[the toff doesn't seem to register Oliver's reaction to his behaviour]

As far as I can tell, one person in charge is a very pretty woman with rather distressing taste in clothing - her name is Meredith Sault - and then we also have a pair of twins who look a bit like those china doll figures one of Julia's admirers sent her from Germany. Ghastly things, the dolls, but the twins are less unsettling. I couldn't say why. I think it's their experiment.
