[You know who we haven't had enough of? Ray and Chris. So here they are, getting drunk - as normal.

Chris, though, seems to be staring blankly at a tarot card and drooling on it a little. Ray gives him a slightly annoyed eye roll. He seems a bit stressed, but hey, booze shall solve all.]

{So, as usual, Diva says hello by promptly attaching herself to Chris, which includes closing his mouth so he stops drooling like a dog :|}

Ah, it's been such a long time since I've seen Chris or Ray!

Been busy.

[He seems to not care at the moment that Diva is hanging off Chris. Because hey, she solved the problem of him drooling. Awesome.]

[Chris looks up at Diva, in his usual derp way, though a bit out of it.]

Oh, yeah, it's been a while, yeah? Doin' all right, love?

That's attractive.

Obviously. But not even a hello? It's awfully mean.

[Some time of drooling and staring at his card later, Chris finally looks up at Ray.]

Think it's an omen. Like...those films, you know, where there's come bloody nutters and they drag people in and predict stuff.

Mm, well enough, when you consider everything. Did Gene tell you?

[he's just going to be rolling in now and grabbing a pint and taking a seat with them.]

Haven't seen you two around in a bit it seems.

[Chris is giving her a very enlightened "durrr" look.]

Tell me what now?

What I did, of course. I guess he wouldn't have bothered, now that I think about it...

[He smirks a bit.]

Missed us? Figured you might Chris, seein' as you're more fond of him.

Oh, both of you, in your own way. Chris is just sweet. But I like everyone at...at CID, of course.

[Ray snorts a bit.]

Least you haven't dealt with it all day.

[ Sefton's really not intending to head into the bar, but as he walks past, he happens to notice the tarot card from a really awkward angle. He pauses, squints, takes a few steps inside, then confirms that it is indeed a card in a similar style as his own.

Sighing to himself, he steps in further and stays a few feet off to the side. His curiosity and irritation at someone magically giving him a card and a mysterious note overrides his urge to be completely antisocial! ]

... Did you get a note, too?

Well, nothin's been predicted for either of us, so I dunno if it's an omen or anythin'.

[Chris sees Handy rolling. He is not, however, hating.]

Been busy. Work and stuff. Boss went all funny, so we had that. Guv got it taken care of, though.

[Ray nods to Handy.]

Finally caught a break, figured we'd head up here for a pint.

Sorry then, luv.

[He pulls his pack of cigarettes from his pocket.]

Next time, we'll come pay you a visit when we're not doin' anythin'.

It'd have to be here, then. I can't exactly come visit at home anymore.

Oh, well that sounds all right then. Everything seems sorted out, good for you lot.

Yeah? Why not?

Ah, that would be because I did something terrible. I'm in a prison now~ It's really awful. I hate it.

[Somehow, he is not surprised.]

Lemme guess. Killed a bloke? [He lights up his cigarette.] 'sides. Prison's supposed to be awful. Wouldn't do any good if it were a nice place.

It's more like...Quite a few people.
