{Because someone won't feed her, Diva has come to the Plane to maybe get something to eat. After all, her skin is absolutely the color of porcelain by how pale she is.

But she's come to the Plane to lounge comfortably in one of her fancy dresses rather than be cooped up in her new cell all day. So, she's in the library reading Madame Bovary of all things, and looking quite pleased despite herself. So, she fits the novel quite well.}

It's so much nicer to be here and get to do and wear what I want rather than be cooped up in that boring cell all day. I mean, ne, there's not even anything to do other than try and talk through those vents. And that doesn't even work that well either. I'd almost go to that really nice bath house again, but after spending so long there, I'm tired of it for now.

{She snorts as she looks to her book} At least Madame Bovary has affairs to keep her life interesting! All I get now is threats of being forced to sleep and experimentation! It's very barbaric. But I'm almost done with this book, and Dr. Crane brought a whole library...So I hope someone can recommend a book, right? I'd like something else to read while I come here to avoid that man. He even tastes terrible, you know.

{She giggles, but then adds as an afterthought, almost, but it's mostly because her pride takes a blow by asking} Ne, but...If anyone has any blood to spare, could I have some? I'm afraid that dear Arkham will starve me to death before he acknowledges my diet.

Madame Bovary? Is she a character or something? She sounds very interesting! I bet she's very fun to read about- though I haven't been able to read for ages; they don't keep books down in the cave. And I'm not sure where to start here- I mean, the library is so big, isn't it? I mean; I know that I'm probably safe with fairytales but I can't read 'em all day.

[Waiiit a second; did she just hear something about blood?] Oh, I think I have blood to spare if you want it- are you a vampire then?

[Cally is permanently on a sugar high without sugar]

Well, we kind of got trapped down there by bandits- but I'm sure we'll get out soon! It's been very windy lately and that wouldn't happen if we weren't close- right?

[:D] No problem! Where d'you want to take it from?

Mmkay! [She lifts her hair cheerfully, and continues babbling as she does so] Probably the easiest place; though you can take it from other parts too can't you? The wrist, the elbow, the thigh, the ankle...

[identity profile] lovethepossum.livejournal.com 2009-10-29 10:02 pm (UTC)(link)
Yeah; true that- I mean, the wrist would probably stop aching after a bit but most the rest are on joints and things; so I'd keep aggravating it and that'd be all painful [For the record; she's still going :D]

I did recommend The Great Gatsby to you. Stay away from the Marquis de Sade.

[Cally makes a tiny yelping noise but soon reverts to a slightly dreamier variation of her normal smile] It isn't awful; could be worse.

[identity profile] lovethepossum.livejournal.com 2009-10-29 10:54 pm (UTC)(link)
Will that be enough?

Well, you did ask first and you didn't take it all- so there's no point in worrying about what could've happened, and you seemed really hungry too; it just seems right to share a little of what I'm not really using... I've never met a vampire before y'know; only read about 'em.

[identity profile] lovethepossum.livejournal.com 2009-10-29 11:20 pm (UTC)(link)
Probably! But you should be a little silly occasionally and you should try everything once- at least you were a nice vampire; you could've been a nasty one.

...Oh! I'm Cally by the way, you have pretty hair.

[identity profile] handfulofstraw.livejournal.com 2009-10-29 11:30 pm (UTC)(link)
Did you? How did you like Daisy?

[identity profile] lovethepossum.livejournal.com 2009-10-29 11:34 pm (UTC)(link)
It's nice to meet you! ...Though I probably should've done that before teh whole blood thing; oops.

Well, you do have nice hair! And it's good for people to get compliments.

There are plenty of reasons to forbid a book from being read, and none of them are worth listening to. You could try more Fitzgerald.

Barbaric is strong, especially considering the actions one must take to be forcibly committed to any asylum.

Princess? What tragedy has befallen you that you find yourself trapped in such a way?
