[[A young woman with short teal hair in a black school uniform blinked, glancing puzzledly around the darkness lit only by the shifting constellations above and a soft glow at her feet.]]
...Hello? Meredith-san...? I'm, um...not quite sure what you meant by..."the machine"... [[furrows brows]] ...What is that? Is that what this place is...?

[[But she soon realizes that the woman from before was nowhere to be seen. She sighs quietly, and starts walking slowly, glancing around. Seeing no one else in her immediate vicinity, the first place she looks is up.]]
...The stars...it's like this place is a giant planetarium. [[gazing up into them]] Even if this place is a little frightening...it's beautiful, in a way...

[[She notices in her "stargazing" though that indeed, that isn't the only thing present in this strange place.]]
[[blinks]] ...An onsen?

[[Tentatively, she walks across the bridge onto the first floor, where she sees an array of outdoor baths.]]

[[ooc: Sooo, I've decided it's a bit too crammed (for me, anyway) to actually get in on the plot in full, and I thought it might be interesting for a chara to get an 'outside' perspective on the whole thing -- so ~~the rest of you guys are trapped and she's not bwahahah~~ she'll be more in line with what I'm aware of the game so far XP

[[Still incredibly ~~swept off her feet~~ nervous and as red as a tomato, she very carefully and slowly takes his arm, not saying anything.]]

[walking on Fuuka's other side, allowing Tamaki to dominate the flatter-the-girl-senseless half of the business]

The first floor, as you can see, is dominated by outdoor baths. Even-numbered floors hold bedrooms for the guests to stay at, while odd-numbered floors alternate between baths and dining areas.

This setting is truly serene, the refreshing air, the soothing baths, the delicious foods and friendly faces. The only thing that might surpass the serenity in this setting is the serenity I feel in my own heart when I gaze into your eyes. Their gentleness and peaceful nature could tame even the most savage of beasts I'm sure.

[[still blushing and shy, her words come out hesitatingly]]

...Y-yes...onsens do have a...relaxing feeling to them. I...can't say that I've...visited one lately myself...

Then I hope this stay will be to your liking.

[subtly glances to the side at Tamaki to check which way he's leading]

A princess such as yourself deserves to experience the soothing effects of such a place on a regular basis. Although I find the effect of this place slightly diminished now. Your presence calms me far more than anything in this place.

The baths are divided into male, female, and mixed areas. They're volcanic mineral water with high calcium and silica content, but we haven't been able to determine much more than that.

[And don't ask how Kyouya was able to determine that in the first place]
