[ If anyone happens to be taking a nice, relaxing walk along the Plane's beach, they might be privy to the SPLOOSH happening just off its shores. Roxas pops out moments later. He's also shirtless. At the moment, he seems to be looking from side to side for... something. ]

[Someone with dark hair-- apparently a redhead-- surfaces reluctantly a few feet away. It's Axel! He's shirtless, too, and a little more impressive than Roxas. His hair lays flat against his head until he shakes himself out like a dog, then it puffs back out again.] Oh man... here, too? I thought the castle's past was just a fluke.

[ Roxas paddles over with his hands, shrugging once he's closer. ] Looks like it wasn't. It's not so bad, though. At least there's some water around... and now we can get in as much practice as we need!

[Axel responds by sinking back into the water to his chin.] I don't need practice. I just want to get this over with and leave. Is that too much to ask?

Oh, come on, Axel! Ariel needs some distraction, right? It's the least we could do! [ Then, he does something like an aquatic backflip, showing off that nice, awesome... fish tail? Well, to be more precise, it's closer to a killer whale tail. When his head pops back out of the water again, Mr. Voiced By Jesse McCartney opens his mouth, and... ]

♪ Swim this way, we'll dance and we'll play now,
It's very— ♫

[Nice fins. But now that Axel is above water, it means he can toss a teeny fireball in Roxas' general direction.] Singing wasn't on the contract!

[ PFFFBBBT Roxas ducks under the water momentarily to shake off the fireball, then reappears. ] What about helping a friend?

[ It takes him a moment to notice, but then he raises an arm at the doll, waving it in greeting. ] Hey there!

[Naminé isn't really paying much attention to what's out in the water, at least not at the moment. She's sitting on the beach, absorbed in her sketching. ♥]

[ Oh, hey! It's Nami! Roxas dives forward, making sure to splash some water in Axel's face with his fin, then completely submerges himself and gets closer to the shore. Once he's about as close as he can get while still having room to move around, he pops his head back out. ]

Hey, Naminé!

[She looks up when she hears her name, smiles at Roxas and waves.]

Swimming?

[She thinks for a second, then smiles and nods.]

Wait here. [Poof!] ............. [Poofs back! In a light pink one-piece with artistic white swirls in the pattern (sort of like tie-dye or marble), and a white sarong wrapped around her waist. She looks a little shy, standing with her hands held behind her back and looking down at the sand.]

[ Whoa. Roxas forgets to tread and sinks into the water a bit, then shakes his head and straightens himself out. ] You coming in, or you just going to stare at your feet all day?

[She laughs faintly and shakes her head.]

No, I'm coming. [She undoes the sarong and leaves it by her sketchbook before running toward the water. She gets her feet wet, at least, but she's stopping there for now.]

[He follows Roxas to the shallows, somewhat annoyed that he can't just PADDLE there. Stupid fish tail. STUPID SPINY BUTT.]

So, what made you two want to take a swim, anyway?

Ah, well... One of the worlds we're visiting is entirely underwater.

Are too! [She splashes him a little bit -- more like gets her fingers wet and flicks them at him, but it counts.]

[Blink!] Really? Wow! How do people live underwater?

[ Pfffbbt. Roxas shakes it off and gives a small splash back—this might be when Naminé notices that, instead of his usual wristband and colored rings on his left hand, there's two black and white fins between his outer left fingers and a band of alternating-colored scales around his wrist. ] Totally am not.

Like this! [ He grins, then drops under the surface. Moments later, he jumps out a few feet away, managing to twist himself around a bit in order to show off the tail before slipping back under the water. ]

[She's too busy trying to protect her eyes from the water with one arm and giggling to notice the fins and scales...

... but she notices the tail. Her eyes go wide and her jaw drops a little. Words? ... not yet. ♥]
