seventy-two types of hissei

[Ahh, the most familiar sight on the Plane: a desk with paperwork. Such visions still haunt the nightmares of many.]

[This particular desk comes with a boy and his notebook leaning against it. He's still in his school uniform, but when is a Japanese manga teenager not?]

I'm taking a census on the natures of the worlds from which people here come, including any changes made to that world since an individual's arrival here. Any information would be helpful.

[Since I am already in two threads with Satoshi and Cally (and I'm in Juni's account!) Have a Juni leaning against the desk] Population and that sort of thing?

[raises an eyebrow] Might need a bigger notebook.

[Argentine approaches the desk and stops to stand before it.]

Magic varies between worlds.

[The Doctor brightens up upon seeing Satoshi and greets him accordingly.]

Oh, hullo again! Doing research?

[Harley is licking a lollipop, out of costume and comfortably in her Arkham best.]

Hey, kid, ain't ya a little short to be usin' words like that?

[Argentine eyes the spot, then hops up with an easy grace to perch on the desk. His arms hang down between his legs and he blinks at the information Satoshi has given.]

I met Alexander the Great, who comes from a world of magicians. He spoke of a battle of sorts which he engages in as a Servant. Another told me that there was magic in his world but that is all I know.

[He leans against the desk.]

Not at all. Scientific inquiry is encouraged. So, where to start?

[identity profile] harlequinades.livejournal.com 2009-09-05 03:59 am (UTC)(link)
You can call me Harley Quinn. Whaddabout you, shortie?

They fight for the Holy Grail of legend. The winner is granted a wish by the relic. A Servant is a hero of notoriety revived, in a sense, and bound to their Masters. They can use the magic you mention. He also knew I was not human.

Well, bit personal, hm? 'The Doctor' should suffice. I'm, ohhh, somewhere in the 900's, 1,000's, lower end, of course. And Time Lord.

[identity profile] harlequinades.livejournal.com 2009-09-05 04:04 am (UTC)(link)
What, do I gotta third eye or an arm growin' outta my head or something? I'm human. A lady isn't goin' to appreciate questions like that.

[identity profile] salvagestime.livejournal.com 2009-09-05 05:18 am (UTC)(link)
Oh yes. Quite a few. And naturally, depends on the time period. Further in the future, there's different sub-species and so on, from evolution and meeting other species in the universe.

[identity profile] artiscordis.livejournal.com 2009-09-05 05:22 am (UTC)(link)
It seems to be tied to the magic, I believe. He was unsurprised by my process of creation. [His eyes flicker slightly.] I told him nothing revealing nor did I insinuate about my weaknesses.

[identity profile] harlequinades.livejournal.com 2009-09-05 05:23 am (UTC)(link)
Ohhh, a survey, huh?

[Harley hops up to seat herself on the edge of the desk and looks over at him.] Go on, kid, I ain't got anything better to do. [Mmm, sucker.]
