[cross-legged on the 'floor', sitting up a bit straighter than normal thanks to the tight bandages wrapped around his abdomen. they can't be seen, though. only indication of anything is that he's wearing his shirt and coat without the tie and jacket. no converses either, though his socks and the bottoms of his trousers are covered in sand. well dressed, our Ten is]

I take it the experiment went poorly, eh, you lot? Can't have all the subjects killed at once. [smiles despite this] Never thought I would miss dolphins or that beach so much.

[somewhat of an afterthought] Everything should be fine back there, though, Lucia. Erm, assuming the monsters went back into the desert. Right and any other disasters that need fixing?

[Dusting off a few leftover bits of napalm from her hand.] We can handle the monsters and Leo was called to another city last night according to Hiro. I hope there were no negative affects in your world, Doctor.

[he sits across from the Doctor, and his voice is serious] You should take better care of your things. I wouldn't have done as I did if your TARDIS hadn't acted against my past self. Consider that another of your responsibilities when it comes to 'protecting the world from me.'

[and the voice is light again] So! Back to Risk, is it? Which reminds me, stop cackling evilly over the Monopoly board. It's disturbing.

[is surprised by this] People were dying, desu?

[Blinks] Where are your clothes?

Nah, Minato took care of things. ...Well, he did make the TARDIS a bit clingy. And the monkeys keep laughing at me but that's normal. [looks a bit amused] By 'we' you mean you and Hiro, eh?

I did! I had a sword fight or two. Those are always fun. Unless you lose, I suppose.

[sends him a look and manages to keep his voice level] You didn't have to do it in the first place, regardless of what she did. Especially considering where she is. The divergent universe was a bit important to getting the anti-time infection out of me and who knows what you've done. [rubs his eye] You two are going to kill each other at this rate. Do you mind not ushering that along by being petty?

[and also voice flips] And why not? It's fun to see what it's like to be some crazed evil person.

[nods] As far as I can tell, the experiment went wrong.

Ah, got into another sword fight, you know. Jacket's a bit ruined but everything else is fine enough.

The jacket's ruined? [Oh, yes, have a Rose sitting next to you and checking you for INJURIES, Doctor. INJURIES.]

But...! But this place, it isn't anything like that, desu! Right? Why...why would someone want to experiment on us...?

Oi! [fidgets] All right so I might have lost a sword fight. Everything's fine, though.

[frowns] I don't know, really. Well, I can imagine it would be interesting to watch so many different people but I don't know their actual purpose.

....[Pokes his side] Weren't stabbed, were you?

And were are your shoes?

That isn't right, desu! We aren't toys! It's not...it's not fair to do that to us!

[winces 'cause ow] Uhm. ...Yes. It'll probably be all healed up by tomorrow.

Oh! Those. The dolphins were happy to see I'm feeling better and stole them.

[Glares, because he's stupid and got stabbed] ......

[soothingly] No, it's not. But things are righting themselves. Everyone will be all right.

[coughs because, well, being glared at sucks]

Yes, they did, actually. I'm hoping they give them back though. I like those shoes.

[smiles] Be there for people if they need it, eh?

[Glares more, because she's upset]

It's nothing too damaging, I'm sure. But I will act when people act against me, particularly my past self. Keep that in mind.

Awww, trying to empathize with me? How sweet. I feel our relationship growing stronger already.

[sighs and maybe pouting just slightly but doesn't know it] All right, I'm sorry for getting stabbed.

Tried that already. They said real fish don't need anything on their flippers.
