[have a strangled scream and a very furious TARDIS appearing rather suddenly on the Astral Plane]

What happened?

It's gone. Everything is gone.

...What? [and have a nice look of horror as it sinks in] How?? You're not a battle TARDIS!

[torn between righteous anger and incredible pain] I don't know...! I can't access my memory banks and you...you won't tell me. But the planet is devastated, Doctor. There is naught but death and carnage and he...he...!

[continues to look horrified but manages to snap out of it after a few moments. he puts his hands on her shoulders to sort of steady her and give her comfort and focus] Try to ask Charley about it, then. She should tell you. There's always those experiment leaders, too.

[stares at him, still shaken, then shakes her head, gently shrugging him off] I can guess what happened. Charlotte, she ... you know how useless she is. She won't leave your side, anyway, as you pick through the dead and the dying. [quietly] You won't come near me, Doctor. You won't come near me and it's all that insect's fault...!

[shakes his head] I'll see. I'll look into it. Right now he's busy. But he'll realize something was wrong and he won't blame you. I wouldn't.

He would have seen it, Doctor. Would have seen me -- that monster, never me, I wouldn't do this -- he would have seen me destroy this planet. [sways as she begins going into system shutdown from the stress] It wasn't enough for him to ruin me in the future, was it? No. He had to bring it here, to my present. He had to hurt you through me...!

[he rushes to her, intent concern on his face]

What's happened?

It's gone...! That ... thing that you keep with you, he...! [breathes hard] The whole planet, everyone...it's nothing but the dead and dying and he...he used me to do it...!

[it seems to take a moment for this to sink in; then he looks horrified, devastated]

No. Not in just...not with...

[little above a whisper]

I'm sorry.

[helps hold her up then, softly] ...I'm sorry. Just...you need to calm down for now. Shut down any auxiliary systems and open your cooling vents.

[worried but nervous to come closer] Are...what happened?

[Comes over when he hears the scream, desperately hoping it's not a repeat performance of what happened to Diva.]

What happened? Is everything alright?

[smirking? Yes he is]

[does so, fingers digging into his arm] It's always sorry, isn't it, Doctor? Just sit and apologise and think it makes amends when you still allow that cretin to run free. How much more does he have to ruin before you learn...?

[angrily] Apologies will not heal what he has done, Doctor. Apologies will not make you talk to me again. I do not know what I did but you had to have seen it, your future self. You saw it and you won't come near me!

[looks at this little girl and doesn't really want to tell her] Nothing, child. Just the Master being his foolish and destructive self.

[ah, the Lemuria she met earlier. how nice to see him again, though she's a little too haggard to greet him properly] I am fine, boy. Will be fine. Must be. There is nothing to be done for it, now.

You...! [seeeriously wants to strangle you now, Master] Why? There was no need for this! You devastated this planet and there was no need! I'd rather you have left me broken and useless than this!

Disregard it, is there something that can be done for you?

You cannot fix this, no. If it calms you, however, I am unharmed.

It helps, yes, but I still worry. You don't seem the type to get so distressed. If you'd rather not talk about it though, I understand.
