[Takeru appears on the Astral Plane, in his Kaiser outfit this time. He looks absolutely exhausted, and slightly singed. He sits down on the 'floor', hard, and stares up at the stars, a vaguely blank look on his face.]

They're wrong. They're wrong, and I'm doing the right thing.

[He puts a hand on the back of his neck and winces, before flopping his head into his knees.]

[Shun is going to note the strange outfit, but it's only clothing after all so he ignores it after a moment. He kneels next to Takeru, to check on him.] You don't look good.

[Fffft looks up and blinks for a few seconds, before staring at Shun.]

I'm fine. It's nothing I haven't dealt with before.

[Winces again and mutters something under his breath, sounding suspiciously like 'shut up'.]

Mm. [Sigh.] It would be sort of pointless to escape the flames and end up right back in them when I go back. I wonder if it's possible to control where you end up when you leave the Plane?

You will have to direct that question at some of the Plane's more veteran citizens, I suspect.

But perhaps you would find yourself able to--equip yourself against the dangers your return to by searching for things on the Plane.

[Smirks.] I wonder if I can find a fire extinguisher. It would have to be a big one though, or else that stupid fire lizard thing is going to just set stuff on fire again.

Something to knock the creature out might be of use? I would offer you one of the asylum's tranquillizer guns, but I don't believe Dr Arkham would approve of me giving those out to anyone outside of the asylum.

... Maybe I can come up with something... at the very least, I can throw the fire extinguisher at him to try to knock him out.

You could borrow clothing from the ballroom and throw it at the creature to distract it, then use the fire extinguisher. If you douse the clothing in water, they won't catch flame as easily, giving you more time.

The problem is that it's smart. About the intelligence of a ten year old person, but smart. Unless I distracted its friends, too.
