{As instructed by her agent, Diva has started to pick up dancing to add to her resume. Well, dancing that isn't ballroom dancing, anyways. To start off, she has picked up ballet, since according to her instructors, it's the basis for many other dances. Diva doesn't really mind about that, but she has been having fun with it.

As such, she's brought a section of the barre and its mirrors with her, which she's stretching against.}

I almost feel bad that I moved on to the intermediate class so fast, but I guess it's to be expected. Ne, I mean, it would have been the same if I had done another kind of exercise. I'm just naturally better than humans at things like this.

{She's mostly thinking aloud, but as if to demonstrate, moves to hold her leg up for a near-standing split. But then she's back to stretching normally, and sighs}

I'd rather do the partnered dancing, though. The stretching and dancing alone, it's boring. I could just do all of that here.

... but remembers himself and shakes his head firmly to knock himself back into coherency. He smiles and heads her way.]

One of my friends told me that the partnered dances are in the more advanced classes, so maybe you'll be there soon enough.

I hope so! I've been having to really hold back my strength since I have more than any human would have. So I think it's just learning the steps and motions, since I have the muscle control already.

Start...Ne, it can't have been long after I left the tower. So I guess 110 years ago or so, to be honest.

{She laughs and turns again to keep stretching, but keeps her eyes on Kuhn through the mirror with the same cheerful smile}

[He scratches the back of his head, smiling awkwardly... he's not sure how to ask without sounding rude or something, but... Ah, hell with it.]

So... I kinda gathered that you're not human, but I don't think you've ever mentioned what it is that you are. Unless, you know, you can't tell me. Or don't want to.

Oh, no, it's fine. I'm not. I'm close to what humans call a vampire, but it's not exactly that.

[Wow. Diva just got a little bit hotter in Kuhn's mind Now is not the time for thoughts like that. He's stuck just staring for a little bit, honestly shocked, but this IS the Plane, and he's seen and heard stranger things here.]

A vampire? Wow... in my world, vampires are just stories and legend. So, you drink blood? And, you're going to live forever?

I do. And I don't know about living forever. I already died once here, but the Twins brought me back, like they do everyone else. I don't know how long I would have lived if Nathan hadn't killed me, and it doesn't really matter. I've already lived for 174 years. One year is the same as ten, really.

That's... a really long time. I couldn't even imagine... And that means the twins are capable of bringing people back to life? Man, they just keep getting creepier and creepier the more I learn.

But, hey. I'm glad you're still alive. It means I was able to get to know you.

I am! Well, learning, anyways. All I really knew was ballroom dancing, but now I'm learning ballet and this other, modern style. I can't even remember what it's called, but it's very odd and jerky. Ballet is much nicer.

It's true, though! That's why I couldn't just pick any sport. I really wanted to do something else, like Kathryn said that she really liked kickboxing, but I'm too strong for that. I'm trying to keep it a secret, after all.

That's why I can't hate them. Ne, I mean, they let me live, and they let me come to this place to meet all kinds of wonderful people. No matter what they do, I don't think I can hate them.

Nee nee that is a lot of types of dancing, gero! Only humans can make up that many styles for dancing, gero! Only they can! Nee ballet is a dance too, gero? It is?

It is. It's a very graceful, but powerful one.

{Diva stands away from the barre, and does a pirouette slowly, extending a leg far up}

There are lots of positions, though. It's hard!

[Watches with wide eyes, and slightly parted lips.] Powerful, gero? It looked easy! It did, gero! [And this is Amane, performing it somehow the same, with less leg lifting.]

My, then you're very balanced! Most people can't manage it, they said. I'm still learning, though, so I can't really show you too much. Not that I should anyways, because I'm still stretching.

Well...not really. It's a partnered dance almost all of the time, and there usually aren't jumps or stretches.

Oh, no, not a frog! But it's not boring at all! It's very graceful, beautiful, and...{Sigh} romantic, I suppose.
