[There is a Shun off in a semi-empty corner of the Plane. Instead of his usual Cloth, he's wearing a very shiny gold Cloth. His eyes are closed in concentration as a pinkish-red glow appears around him. There's a flicker and the pink changes to gold. It stays that way for maybe a heartbeat before it fades back to it's original color and Shun opens his eyes. He gazes down at his hands as he allows the glow to fade away entirely. Anyone who's sensitive to pick up on cosmo or energy might have felt that.]

I'm not ready yet...

[He knows what happens, and he knows that this is the logical conclusion to that, given how powerful Shun and his posse became...

But seeing him wearing Shaka's cloth hurts.]

[Naminé spots him from afar and approaches, the look on his face clearly worrying her.]

Shun?

[Tries to put on a smile when he sees her] Hi Namine.

[When Shun notices Mu he freezes, an almost guilty look on his face. He doesn't say anything since he doesn't know what to say to him right now.]

Should I address you as Andromeda or Virgo?

[He thinks about this for a moment. This is the first time he's fully realized that he won't be Andromeda anymore after he becomes Virgo. It's a very odd sensation]...I don't know. Saori-san just asked us to see if the Gold Cloths would accept us on command. They helped us before but this is only my second time wearing one.

And has it taken to you?

It came to me at least, and it does feel warm. But I don't feel like I'm ready to wear it yet.

It came, which means it's ready for you.

[She tilts her head to one side, returning the smile even though she has a feeling his is only for show...]

What are you doing?

[Tries to find a way to sum up what he's doing to an outsider]...I'm testing if the Gold Cloth will really accept me.

[Looks down at the Gold Cloth silently for a moment before speaking]...Do you think I'm ready to be a Gold Saint?

The... gold cloth?

You are a Saint. You've risen to greater challenges.

...I guess I have. It just feels strange to even think of myself as a Gold Saint.

Ah, this. [He gestures to what he's wearing] It's armor sacred to the goddess Athena. Gold is the highest rank.

[A small smile] Virgo seems to think it's alright.

Oh, I see. So if it accepts you... that would mean you have the highest rank? [She smiles a bit more.] That's a good thing.

[He looks somber as he glances down at the Cloth] I suppose it is. I'm just not sure I feel ready for this yet.

Hm? Why is that?

Even though I'm not nearly as strong as Shaka was? [Because he can't see how he can be better than anyone called 'The Man Closest to God']

The Andromeda Cloth, what I've been wearing until now, is only Bronze rank. That's the lowest rank. Saori-san seem to think I'm worthy of wearing it, but I don't feel like I am.

[He steps closer, raising a hand to trace out the patterning along the collar. He seems extremely sad, but his face betrays nothing]

You will be.

[She shakes her head.]

Don't underestimate yourself, Shun. ... I understand that I don't really know what's going on, but... There's a reason you have it with you right now, right? So you must be ready, even if you don't think you are.

[He's watching Mu's face with a bit of concern for him, but he is flattered Mu thinks that much of him]...Thank you.

[Smiles a little] Maybe. Mu and Saori-san seem to think I can do it at least.

..Thank you Namine.

[He drops his hand.]

Be kind to this cloth. It still mourns its last master.

[She smiles as well.] If they believe in you, then you should believe in yourself, too. And for what it matters? I believe in you, too, Shun.

[Nods]...I will. I'll do my best to live up to what he did.

[A small smile] I have faith you will.

[He is touched by that] Thank you, that means a lot.

[Will just nod, looking a little more sure of himself and determined than before]...Thank you, Mu.
