[He moves around, a little dazed at all the stars.] They're so bright. I've never seen stars like this in The World before...

[Suddenly he notices that there are other people around.] U-uh... who are you people? What do you want from me? [He backs up, gripping his staff tightly.] She didn't send them, did she? You're not administrators, are you? I thought Subaru was taking care of that for me...

Whoa, calm down. It's no trick. Not really, anyway. This place? It's called the Astral Plane. It brings people from all sorts of different worlds and times, and while you're here, time doesn't pass wherever you're from.
