[B wanders into an area of the Astral Plane that actually has life. He is now dressed like L, wearing a long-sleeve white shirt, baggy jeans, and no socks or shoes. He scans the crowd, but then looks back down at his feet, which are fidgeting. He is not smiling, and in fact is a little jittery.]

It's official. This place is fucked up.

[He looks up, thoughtful but tired.]

Can anyone give me a haircut? ... I am also in need of eyeliner.

[He stopped.] I really just want it shorter, and not even around the bottom. Can you do that?

I think so, it doesn't sound too hard. [Poofs back home, then returns with a pair of scissors] Hold still, okay? [Begins to cut cautiously]

[Stands still, albeit slouched, and chews on his thumb as Shun cuts his hair.]

[Frowns in concentration as he cuts, being very careful] There...I think that should do it.

[Reaches up to touch it, trying to guess how it looks by how it feels. It feels right! He rearranges it so some is over his face and pats it all down to get loose hair out. He is smiling a little.] Yes, thank you, thank you. [Then he adds:] Shun. [And he awkwardly holds out his hand for him to shake. He's not used to thanking people.]
