[Naminé is on the plane, and this time, she's brought a rather poofy couch with her. She's curled up into a ball on one corner of it, clutching a throw pillow tightly to her chest and resting her chin over top of it. Her eyes are squeezed shut.]

Mm...

[If she looks rather like a frightened little girl who just woke from a nightmare, that's because she is. She's not even daring to move very much, except to tighten her grip on the pillow.]

((OoC: ... Anyone else forget the whole nightmare aspect to this game? :x))

He comes over quietly, kneeling at the couch so he can try to look up into her face.]

Naminé... What's wrong?

[She looks up through her bangs at Roxas, managing to shake her head slightly.]

A dream. ... It was just a bad dream, that's all.

[He reaches out to lay a hand over one of hers. Even if it wasn't something real, nightmares can sometimes be even worse than whatever the waking world might conjure.]

You wanna talk about it?

[She closes her eyes again, trying to hold back a small little shiver.]

I was... falling. Away from everyone, everything... It was dark, and I couldn't hear anything over the sound of something... mechanical. [Her voice begins to waver a bit.] And something told me that I wouldn't see anyone ever again...

Don't worry about those things, okay? It was just a nightmare. Now that Axel and I are here, we're never going to get separated again.

It was just... so real when it was happening. I've never had a nightmare that horrible before. It... scared me...

[Roxas shifts, placing himself on an empty spot of the couch, but still so he can see her face.]

I'll bet... But you're all right now. The darkness won't find you again.

I... I hope not.

[Just the fact that Roxas is nearby helps her calm down. She loosens her grip on the pillow considerably and looks up at him, her eyes still red from crying earlier, and... her attempt at a smile is a very weak one, but it's there.]

[She shakes her head slowly before looking up.]

I... I don't know. I think so.

[The boy vanishes a moment, returning with a large clay cup of tea. He offers it to her]

What happened?

[It takes her a moment to convince herself to let go of her deathgrip on the pillow, but she does so and takes the cup.]

Thank you. I... I had a nightmare...

[That look is all he needs before he reaches over to pull her into a hug. It may not be just for her benefit, either.]

[She doesn't hesitate to drop the pillow completely and cling in return, burying her face in his shoulder, feeling safer than she has in such a long time...]

[Axel approaches slowly, then kneels in front of Naminé.]

Hey... What happened?

[He holds onto her tightly, quietly trying some 'shh'ing noises. He feels like he's missed so much, even if he's not sure how long he was asleep. It doesn't seem to matter now that Naminé is in his arms, though.]

[Naminé looks up at Axel, her eyes still a little watery.]

Axel... I... It was just a bad dream.

[Naminé doesn't want to move, doesn't want to let go. She's missed this -- missed him -- so much. She can't help but let a few tears escape.]

[He feels the tears, but he doesn't want to move and risk having her pull away.]

[Oh god, that look. His green eyes soften a bit, then he looks away.]

That bad dream has guts if it thinks it can bother my friend and get away with it.

[That wins the tiniest of smiles before she rubs her eyes against the pillow she still has that superdeathgrip on.]

What can you do against a dream?

Well... [He gets up, then sits on the edge of the couch beside her.] I'm not sure yet. I think I'm gonna show it who's boss next time I fall asleep.

I... [She can't even put words to her own protest, so she settles on moving in a bit closer, if that's even possible at this point.]

[Oh, Naminé... his heart is aching so badly. He shifts to give her more room to get closer, and just continues to hold her.]

It's okay... I'm here now.

[Her laugh is muffled by the pillow, but when she looks up, she's smiling a bit more.]
