[Everyone loves Chris and Ray so here they are! It's break time at CID and since Plane breaks are never ending, they are spending it here. They luv escaping work. You'll note the amount of food on the desk - MUFFINS ARE IN THERE - signals that they expect to be a while. The fact that Chris seems to be happily explaining something of great importance to Ray is also good to note. He's even holding up something. What is it?! It's about a comic book! Yes. That's what he's holding up to Ray.

It's very important, all right?] See, Ray, he'll smash the car and then he can throw it. 'Cos that'll take care of anything.

[Ray has his arms crossed and has cocked his head to the side a bit.] Sounds like it'd just 'cause more problems to me.

[yeah so he might be a little sulky and he's on the lookout for certain people on the Plane, but he stops at Chris and Ray's conversation]

Why?

[Ray shrugs and looks over at Handy.] No idea.

[Chris shrugs.] He can throw it at Thing. Knock'em out, maybe?

'Cos he's the Hulk.

[Ray accepts this and takes a drag on his cigarette, since you know he's smoking anyway.] So what was 'Thing' doin' what warranted a car bein' thrown at him?

[grabs a muffin off the desk and starts eating it]

Oh, he's the green one, yeah, the one you don't want to see angry? From the comics and films and things, right?

[Ray idly pulls out the top drawer in his desk and sticks his feet in it.] Chris's got all his comics, I think.

Thing and Hulk got this rivalry. They're always gonna fight about it, probably. [and we know Chris is eating because right now he's stuffing his face with a sandwich.]

[Chris takes a drag of his cigarette.] Yeah, got most of'em. [He looks surprised.] There's films?

[now he's going to sit on an empty spot on the desk while he eats] Yeah. A couple of Hulk films I think. Actually there's a good deal of comics they make into films. Spiderman, they did a few of those, too. X-Men. There's a few others they made into films, too.

And it ain't a proper fight without things bein' tossed about, yeah?

[Ray remains in a casual sort of state at this news.] Sounds like they had a field day.

[Chris brightens.] Yeah. Think if I had super strength, I'd toss around things for fun.

[Ray grins and laughs a bit.] So long as I don't have to deal with the mess you left, that'd be fine by me.

Blimey, I wanna see those. I really like comics and, uh, those things. ['those things' = 'I AM A NERD']

They're quite good. I like the Spiderman ones. They made about three of them last I checked. They seem to like making things in threes in general. I think they made three of the X-Men films, too. Fantastic Four I think they only made two of, although you'd think they'd want to make four. It was a trend I suppose. One person does something and it does well everyone's got to do it.

[Chris laughs too, then shrugs.] Wouldn't want super strength anyway, though. It'd get boring. Better to have heat vision or something.

[Ray grabs food off the desk.] Gonna hafta wait a while, Chris. I'm guessin' none of those come out any time soon.

[Chris pauses to grab some crisps.] Yeah, sounds farther on. Guess it's worth it, though.

[takes a thoughtful bite of a new muffin]

I'm sure you could probably still see them somehow. Maybe bring a television and some DVDs or something?

DVDs?

We got some dramas on the telly, if that's what you mean. Not usually the films, though.

So long as you can control it, anyway. 'd be shitty if you couldn't. Set everythin' on fire, ya know?

DVDs. It's like films you can take home with you and watch whenever you like. They're on a disc and you put it into a player. They have all sorts of special features and things, too. I should bring one of the Incredible Hulk films at some point for you to see.
