✘ 42 (THIS NUMBER MAKES ME EXCITED :D /loser)

[See Ianto. See coffee machine. See Ianto fixing coffee machine.

He's pretty clearly unhappy about his coffee machine being damaged to say the least. He's also pretty distracted by it, and possibly by thinking of what he'd like to whoever (or whatever) broke it.

Nope, Ianto is definitely not a happy bunny right now. Approaching with caution might be wise.]

[raised eyebrow as she watches Ianto] Having any luck, or should I run to Starbucks?

[identity profile] remare.livejournal.com 2009-02-21 08:52 pm (UTC)(link)
Oh no, it broke? That's a...coffee machine, right? I haven't seen one like that since I left Man-Home.

[identity profile] geekgirltosh.livejournal.com 2009-02-21 08:53 pm (UTC)(link)
Riiiight. [Tosh might be able to help fix it, but she's just backing off] I...guess we don't really need coffee right now, anyway.

[identity profile] remare.livejournal.com 2009-02-21 09:00 pm (UTC)(link)
Well, probably not exactly like it.

{Laughs} Technology was never my strong point! But the ones on Man-Home looked similar. Oh, but if you'd like coffee, there's a really nice cafe in San Marco Square. It has the best coffee on Aqua.

[identity profile] geekgirltosh.livejournal.com 2009-02-21 09:04 pm (UTC)(link)
[she folds her arms over her chest] Well, I'm sorry you couldn't make coffee while you thought you were a cat. And I make instant coffee when I'm at home, because it's cheaper. [not a good way to endear yourself to Ianto, Tosh] Why don't you just use the machine in the kitchen here?

[identity profile] remare.livejournal.com 2009-02-21 09:12 pm (UTC)(link)
Oh, it probably does, just...not quite ready, yet? Aqua's old name is Mars, after all.

But I can bring you a cup to try, if you want! I'm not far from San Marco Square right now, since I was waiting for Alicia-san to finish her Undine meeting.

[identity profile] savagestime.livejournal.com 2009-02-21 09:13 pm (UTC)(link)
[clearly, the best person to meet is the Master right now]

Did Captain Harkness spill on it?

[identity profile] geekgirltosh.livejournal.com 2009-02-21 09:18 pm (UTC)(link)
I'm no good at making real coffee, as you know. And you're only making the coffee machine worse by fiddling with it like that, Ianto. [scoff] Maybe I like to try to save money. It's not a problem of affording it, it's that I'd rather not pay five quid for a coffee if I don't have to.

[identity profile] remare.livejournal.com 2009-02-21 09:19 pm (UTC)(link)
It's 2302 for me. The calendar changed about four hundred years ago to account for the colonization of Mars, though, since it has a longer rotational period. So I think it's really almost 3000 by the old calendar? I'd have to ask Alicia-san about that, since she's better converting the years than I am.

Oh, I don't mind at all! You just seemed a little upset, so I thought something nice would help.

[identity profile] savagestime.livejournal.com 2009-02-21 09:20 pm (UTC)(link)
Blood's about as good for short-circuiting as water.

[identity profile] geekgirltosh.livejournal.com 2009-02-21 09:32 pm (UTC)(link)
And I think I know a few things about electronics. [B| face] I wonder if there's anybody around here who can work a coffee machine?

[identity profile] remare.livejournal.com 2009-02-21 09:32 pm (UTC)(link)
Wow, really? That's such a long time ago...! I've only read about it in books. What is it like?

{Bright smile} Well, I'm sure that you'll fix it! I would offer to help, but I'd just get in the way, I'm afraid.

[identity profile] twatular.livejournal.com 2009-02-21 09:36 pm (UTC)(link)
Fixed it yet?

[identity profile] savagestime.livejournal.com 2009-02-21 09:43 pm (UTC)(link)
What broke it, then?
