{Akari has decided to add a bit more water to the beach. The water she brings is a very bright, beautiful blue, and fairly deep. But more than that, Akari has brought her gondola with her to practice. Akari is able to glide along the water with ease, only a few strokes with her oar letting her glide along the water. And she looks very happy}

Waa~~ I wasn't sure if it would work, but here we are, my gondola! Oh, I hope this isn't cheating. Aika-chan will yell at me if she finds out I get extra practice time.

{She rubs the back of her head sheepishly before she puts her oar back in the water, turning to go back the way she came.}

I think this is okay, though...I could even have a passenger as a friend without Alicia-san here. Just for fun, I guess. Well, I think riding in a gondola is pretty fun. Not as fun as rowing it, but still...

{She's just pondering aloud as she practices, like she usually does. Feel free to ask for a ride if you'd like~}

I did! President Aria ate too much, so he's home sick today, but sitting under the big cherry blossom tree was a lot of fun. It wasn't too cold either.

That's what we call the gondoliers on Aqua. There are a lot of terms for Neo-Venezia and Old Venice so that people don't get them confused. Besides, only women can be Undines, which is different from Old Venice.

Well, our seasons are longer on Aqua, since a year is twenty-four months instead of twelve. So winter will probably be over in another few months. Autumn is my favorite season, though! Well, that and spring. Spring since everything comes back to life, and autumn, since everything is colorful.

Oh, there's still plenty of people on Man-Home. There were too many, so humanity terraformed Mars almost five hundred years ago, but the polar caps melted more than they thought they would, so most of the planet's surface was covered with water.
