[Nine has been lounging around the pub, eating chips. He pops out for a minute or two, pops back in, and nearly falls on his ass. Because he's dressed like this. Oh, and he's human. That too.]

[In response, if she'll allow him, he'll put her hand over his heart. Heart, singular. It's dulled slightly by all the layers of gaudy fabric, but she should be able to feel it since it's thumping away pretty franticly.]

[Manages to just snicker instead of laughing outright.] Oh, it's not so bad, is it?

[She drops her hand and takes a half-step back, trying to get a grip on the situation]

It's this place. It's happening to everybody. Buffy's hair changed color, and one girl turned into a Green Fairy. If you step off the plane, you should turn back to normal, I s'pect.

[thinking] But first, I'd recommend just... y'know, calming down. Just bein' human never killed anybody. Take a couple deep breaths, y'know, in-through-the-nose, out-through-the-mouth. It'll be alright.

I guess we're all having a bit of a weird day. [drops into the seat opposite her]

Excuse me for needing a little adjustment time to change species.

[She sits up, still scowling.] Half the plane seems to think I hopped out to the corner shop and picked up a new accent and the other half don't remember most of my life. It's a bit more than a weird day, thanks.
