6th Coil: Dreams

[Yasako is here (in her normal body) wearing pajamas. She's sitting in a beanbag chair and is frowning and rubbing her head as if she has a headache. Densuke is curled up beside her, ears twitching.]

That dream again. I don't understand it. That staircase...it can't exist in Daikoku, can it? And what does it have to do with 4423?

I really need to stop falling asleep with my glasses on.

[Densuke yips at him. Yasako stares at Crowley a moment, remembering what Henrietta said, and she smiles a little.]

Oh, this is Densuke. He's my pet.

Not really...I've just been having a strange dream lately.

I was under the impression the Plane sort of...caused them. Nightmares, d'you mean, or something else?

Oh...this isn't really a nightmare. And I was having the dream even before I came here. Though...it's changed a little bit. There are strange, clanking sounds that weren't there before.

Clanking sounds? What sort of a dream is it, then?

It's...really vivid. I'm on a staircase with lots of torii, and there's a voice telling me to go back, that I'm not on the right path. It says its name is 4423. It's always really foggy...though lately I can see stars every once in awhile, and there are those clanking sounds. It's strange. Kind of like...like a really big clock is nearby.

Nowhere! I mean...I found them in a journal I'd written when I was really little. And I hear it in this dream I've been having...why? Does it mean something? [Suddenly quite animated.] You've heard those numbers before?

[pauses for a moment before leaving entirely without a word. the fact that Yasako even knows the numbers are eerie and confusing, and she's more than ready to figure out how she got her hands on that journal.]
