[Enter Cy, curled up on a familiar woolen scarf that may belong to a familiar lavender-haired personage of Saintly leanings. Said scarf has been bundled into a clumsy nest on the seat of a horrible armchair. Said armchair looks like it belongs in a museum, in a dump, or in a neglected flat with horrible seventies furnishings that, like the decade, have acquired a thin yet irremovable coating of dust.]

[She is surrounded by O-fuda tags. They are stuck to the chair, scattered on the ground, and in several cases tangled in Cy's own fur, along with bizarre looking wires that could have come from something alien.]

[Something alien and important, no less.]

[Kitty is tired. She has been exploring the changes in her little world. She likes them! Mostly. You need more cat-friendly toys in your apartment, Sam.]

[She lifts her head to peer at him, yawns fantastically, and lays back down.]

Cy, what...the hell have you gotten into?

[Knows that scarf] Where did you get that?

[...those wires really are important, Cy. So Ianto would be disentangling them from you right about now. Sorry, Cy. Napping will have to wait.]

[She wakes up enough to squirm in protest.] You're disturbing the nest, Squanto.

[Sleepily] Borrowed it.

[She purrs]

Everything.

Is there a chance that you will return it?

[He ignores her protest, and continues to try and untangle the wire.] I need that wire, Cy.

[Can't resist, so he crouches down and starts petting her.]

[She stretches] Busy's good.

Going to stay, too.

[....she likes teasing you, Shun.] Maybe.

New Roads and fresh-scouted locations, Shan.

[kneels down in front of the chair, squinting at the wires, finally deciding on trying to untangle them, hopefully without waking Cy. because wires like that probably don't belong in cat fur.]

Now Cy, I do need that.

[Innocent face] I need it more.

[Kitty stretches so she's fully extended and then curls up--around his hand.]

Well this seems to be a predicament. [Picks her up for cuddles]

[well that's just nice....so now he has a Cy wrapped around his hand. He stares at her for a second before using his free hand to continue untangling wires]

[Ack! Removed from nest! She flails at him in a mess of O-fuda tags and cords.] That's rude.
