[Lucy appears on the Plane near where she'd previously brought her bed and other things, sitting primly at a vanity, attempting to apply a bit of foundation one-handed since her right wrist is currently broken. her gift from beneath the tree is sitting on the desk, still unopened. she glances at it occasionally, but for the most part remains uninterested in it (on the surface), more concerned with finishing her makeup than anything else. or at least, that's how it looks]

Ne, Lucy, what happened to your wrist?

[glances at it herself, then gives Diva a warm smile] Oh, just a bit of a spat with someone. It's nothing, I promise.

But you're hurt. It doesn't come back for Lucy, does it?

Oh, I mean, Lucy is human, so it'll be a long time before it's better.

Ah, yes. [fingers the bandaging distractedly] It would seem Miss Jones and I don't get along very well.

Oh, not good, I'm afraid. An organization of people kidnapped me, and they've been torturing me, I guess it is.

Hei is on his way, or he's almost there, I suppose. But even if he doesn't show up, it wouldn't be the first time.

[glances over his shoulder, just in case someone's looking]

What happened?

My Sam...Why, I wouldn't want him to do anything. Sam isn't a knight, he's not my knight. He's not going to come save me. Besides...he's only human. Sam would die.

{She brushes some hair behind her ear} He's worried for me, and he held me. There's little more than that.

I'm rather surprised you have time to take an interest. Shouldn't you be out with your companion?
