[Adric is sitting at a desk cluttered with various books and papers, writing down equations on his notepad. Occasionally he stops to think about what he's doing, then either crosses out his previous equations or adds to them. He's also eating from a bowl that's perilously close to the edge of the desk.

He's obviously not paying any attention to his surroundings. Mostly because food + maths = far more interesting than anyone here.]

((Yes, I know. Arthur already just did a post with equations. But chat are unhelpful, and only suggested this. :|))

[Isn't used to being watched. :|] Did you want something?

[Adric doesn't notice him at first, too wrapped up in his calculations to be aware of anyone watching. When he does look up he smiles, pleased enough to see him that he doesn't notice his expression.] Doctor! I didn't notice you. You haven't been there too long, have you?

[Have another Doctor, Adric. He smiles slightly as he comes forward.]

Working on your equations?

I thought I might as well use this place to my advantage. There's always something going on in the TARDIS, so it's hard to concentrate sometimes.

[Sheepish little smile] I'm not very good at Maths. I sometimes wish I were.

Aren't you? It's all very simple, really. I could teach you if you liked.

[smiles back automatically, and shakes his head] Not long, no. [steps forward, absently pushing the bowl away from the edge]

[Adric looks confused as he moves the bowl, but soon forgets about it, turning his attention back to the Doctor.] You should have said something. I wouldn't have noticed you if I hadn't looked up.
