[Yasako has brought a low wall with her and is sitting on it, kicking her heels against the stones and staring off across the Astral Plane. Densuke is curled up beside her.]

He seemed like a nice boy, though. I can't believe his aunt owns Satchii. He did save us that time, but still...

[She sighs and cranes her neck so she's looking upward.]

And Amasawa-san is doing dangerous things again...

[hops up to sit beside her, tilting his head, waiting for her to speak if she likes, though he'll definitely be hitting up the interrogation if she doesn't offer anything. He is, after all, an idiot officer]

His name is Ken'ichi Harakawa, but everyone calls him Haraken. He's a member of the Coil Dennou Investigation Agency, like Fumie and I.

Don't worry about it. I gave her the mobiles already... try not to mention it to anyone, would you? And if you don't want to be involved, you definitely don't have to be.

Mm. It's run by Granny. We investigate the Obsolete Space and the things that happen there--like the Illegals and the metabugs.

It is. It's very dangerous. I feel bad even offering you a chance to be involved. Mind you, I think Fumie might hit me with that laser of hers if I didn't.

Well, for one thing I just joined the Agency sort of, and also Satchii is owned by the Daikoku Cyberspace Administration. We didn't know that there's one person who actually programs and controls him, or that she was connected to Haraken.

[smiles, rather grimly] Ta, Yasako.

Uhh, anything weird happening in your world? Have you and Fumie managed to bring your worlds back together yet?

Not really, aside from what happened yesterday. And we haven't. It's kind of frustrating.

[raises his eyebrows]

What happened yesterday?

But... if that's the case, why does Satchii keep giving you a hard time?

[She sighs.] Isa--I mean, Amasawa-san told Daichi and the other Daikoku Hackers that she new where there was a lode of metabugs, and she was going to take them there. Granny wants us to investigate Amasawa-san, so we followed them--me and Fumie and this boy, Haraken. He's in the Investigation Agency too. We ended up at this sort of...graveyard for old buses. It was an Obsolete Space. There were a lot of metabugs, but most of them were the explosive kind. And when Satchii showed up, the whole place exploded. I'm pretty sure it was Amasawa-san's doing.

[She looks over at Sam.] But Haraken was able to stop Satchii! It looks like Satchii is Haraken's aunt's pet.

[Another sigh and she leans back.] It was a really long day.

We don't know! Fumie says Satchii is the enemy of all kids. Maybe Haraken's aunt just doesn't like children...
