YES I'M A BIT LATE HUSH
[have a battered, messy Doctor! he's without his coat and gloves, leaving him in a blood-stained white silk shirt and torn trousers; he's stiff and sore and breathing heavily; he's clutching a sonic blaster in one hand]
Every planet we've been to has been horrific.
[the dashing traveller, exposed and exhausted, laments the tragic state of the universe he longs to better]
So far, we've been trapped in a supposedly abandoned sanatorium - [he grimly raises his slender yet toned arm, mottled with needle marks] Oh, do stop it. Was it really necessary to follow me here?
[you should never split up, you know; I wonder how your handsome young apprentice is faring]
He's not my - [deep breath]
In our last escapade, my friend was infected. With what, I'm not certain, I've never seen its like before.
[a great scientist, he's frustrated with the perilous mystery that has already taken so many lives]
I was wondering if anyone has experienced something similar, and if you managed to stop it. It may not last past this experiment - but then it might.
[troubled by tumultuous emotions, and fearing futility, our anxious hero begins to pace]
I am not anxious. I am concerned.

Infected? Do you have a sample of his blood? I may be able to analyse it for the chemical substance and help you produce an antidote.
[blinks at him] Are you certain you are well? You did not talk to yourself quite this much, that I can remember.
