[ Her sudden appearance on the Astral Plane did not even bring about a startled expression on her face. In her hands there is book, her gaze lingering about with only mild curiosity gracing her features. There was a faint snap of the book closing in her hands and cradled in the crook of her arm.

She regards everything around her in a silent manner. There is a twitch of what could be a very faint smile on her lips but it's hard to tell. Either way Romana only sighs softly, tucking strands of blond behind her ear. ]

A meeting is to be held in just two hours time and yet it would seem that my own study has decided to take a temporary leave of absence.

[ A small, wry smile can be seen for just the briefest of moments. ]

Perhaps this is a matter to be discussed with Esitella and Joh-hin. Certainly they would find this to be quite intriguing.

Granted, that is once I can speak with them once more when I can return in due time.

[ There is no worry, nor does she appear to be in a hurry to leave. In fact she is entertained by this whole matter - goodness knows she was not looking forward to returning only to attend a council meeting right away. ]

[frowns and rubs his head] Shouldn't try to understand words with that many syllables when I'm this knackered. It's... probably another dimensional plane? It's called the Astral Plane. It's not holographic, I'm pretty sure.

I'll try to use words with fewer syllabes then. [a wry smile tugging at her lips, looking around again] Hmm, the Astral Plane. It would seem to be rather fitting.

A pleasure, Sam Tyler. [accepting his hand with her gloved one] To spare you the trouble of the multiple syllables of my name, you may simply call me Romana.

[smiles] Romana it is.

Anyway, the rundown of this place... this is the Astral Plane, you know that. Chances are, no one you know will be able to get here. Time doesn't pass back wherever you're from while you're here, either, and worlds... overlap, somehow. That's always interesting. Ahh... Twins are in charge over some things. You've probably met them -- skin like porcelain, practically identical? Their names are Lapis and Lazuli, Lapis is the girl and Lazuli's the boy. And there's Meredith Sault. She... I don't actually know anything about her. She wears a hood and cloak, very Star Wars. Haven't seen her weilding a light sabre yet, but I wait in great anticipation. Not sure what else to say... oh, nightmares. Seems like you're going to start having more of them.

[listening to his explanation without betraying her thoughts in her expression, she nods occasionally] The Twins are familiar. [a finger to her cheek, tapping thoughtfully once] Yes, I recall them from a dream. And this Sault is also another. This certainly does prove to be a rather intriguing matter.

[her free hand on her hip, she shifts her weight to her left foot from her right when looks around once more] Fascinating, actually. Though, the light sabre technology you mentioned was restricted to one portion of the galaxy in the universe with even far greater restrictions on a wielder. I never did fancy them to be honest. [shrugs] If one were to duel then a traditional sabre would be suffice.

[he straightens completely, eyes widening slightly; they display on the surprise, none of the wariness]
