[Enter the Griever! As always, the blond hair, glowing red eyes and echo-y voice pretty much guarantee you won't recognize him as Chris. He appears with some momentum, and smacks into the wall of the ballroom. A hand is at his side, where some green blood seeps slowly through his fingers. He looks pretty incredulous.]

Who actually gives a little girl a sniper—?! [Realization dawns!] ...rifle. [He knocks his head back against the wall. Guess who just discovered his merge with Henrietta?] You've got to be kidding.

[Pause, and her expression darkens]

Who hurt you?

I... went through a portal in the Ghost Zone.

[Deliberates on this second part.]

She had really short blond hair and blue eyes. ... I think I just startled her, though.

But she hurt you. [Not making the connection, nope.]

It could have been worse. [Small shrug. And.. speaking of which, he raises his free hand to wiggle his fingers and wonder just wtf he actually did to deflect the bullet.]

Besides [a glance back up to her] I don't you should hold it against her.

I get— [He shifts, but then hisses at the movement before picking back up.] ... the feeling she's a friend of yours.

I startled her? I don't exactly look like a normal person, either.

I already told you. A portal in the Ghost Zone. I think she was just... cleaning her gun when I showed up.

But there isn't one in the warehouse, is there?

Not last I checked. But, uh... isn't it possible this is some sort of reality merge?

[Shrugs a little? Then winces and curls up that much more.] Laundry room? I think? The portal kind of like a washing machine...

Don't think so. [Shakes his head just a little.] I'll be okay. It's... not as bad as it could have been.

[He phases instinctively so she doesn't actually poke at the wound on accident.]

Yeah. It's ghost blood.
