[Lucy appears on the Plane, bed and closet in tow. she's currently folding some clothes neatly into a designer luggage set, humming quietly to herself and sort of bouncing on her toes while she works. the TARDIS was being annoying again -- really, she couldn't very well do anything when the horrible machine kept closing the closet doors on her (when she was in it) -- so she's opted to do her work on the Plane. makes it easier to transport, anyway, since she intends on some of these clothes going to the Fortress of Awesome. she also has some curtains and such set aside to make the Fortress a bit more homey. it's sort of what she does. there may or may not also be a smaller travelling bag sitting off to the side, still empty, but she's been eyeing it as she packs]

I really do need to make another shopping run. It's all just the same clothes as usual. How terribly dull.

Hmm? Yes. I thought Harry and his other Self's Fortress could use a more ... feminine touch. Are you a master of interior design now and come to give me advice?

Ah, why are you packing here?

Because the Doctor's TARDIS still doesn't like me and seems to enjoy trapping me in the closet when I go to grab something. It's just easier here.

{Makes a sour face} Ne, that thing again? I'm really sorry for you. I know that the TARDIS is really terrible. I don't know how anyone can like it at all.

{Nods, but then smiles} Ne, but if you need to go shopping, you definitely should! Shopping for new clothes is a lot of fun.

Nope. Interior design is not my sort of pasttime.

[idly scratches the back of his head]

So you've moved into their...abode?

Not on a permanent basis, no, but I've been invited to stay as I wish, and it's a nice change of pace from this stupid machine. [frowns] The Doctor said he'd say something, but it still keeps trying to lock me out of rooms and fights with me when I want something. It'll be nice not to have that headache sometimes.

Neither can I. I suppose it has its uses, but really, the way the Doctor dotes on it is frightful.

I've been wanting to for a while yet, but everything's been so busy, I haven't had a proper chance. I do so love getting myself a new suit or some pumps.

I think the Doctor would be better without it, honestly~

Ne, really? Ah, I'd offer to go shopping with you, but that's kind of hard unless our worlds are together, I guess.

[Apparently somebody is bored! Bored, or just extraordinarily helpful. And curious. Or maybe all three!]

Well, that makes sense, I suppose. You'll need somewhere that the Master can keep an eye on you.

Harry doesn't need to babysit me, Doctor. Why must you treat it like it's more than it is? Are you that upset I still prefer Harry to you?

I know. If only he'd listen to reason.

That is a problem, and since I'm travelling with Harry and the Doctor, there's no real place to shop for me. It isn't like they let me leave the TARDIS when we land, anyway.

Help? No, I don't suppose I do, but you're welcome to if you'd like.

[looks her over] Are you new here?

Yes, miss. Relatively, I s'pose. I like it very much here, so far, there are lots of people to talk to, but not a lot of things to do, and you know what they say about idle hands. I prefer to keep busy, y'see.

[She picks up some clothing and very meticulously and carefully folds it, as easily as if she's been doing exactly this for a hundred years. Which she has, really.] Taking a trip, miss? If you don't mind me asking.

But people here would get really angry if the TARDIS was gone, I think.

Oh, how terrible! Ne, if that's the case, then I could get things for you. And I'll have to ask them about that the next time I see them.

I didn't realize there was a scale of preference. I thought you hated me.

That isn't--! I--! [takes a deep breath, going back to folding her clothes and not looking at him] I do hate you. Of course. That doesn't mean you hate me, seeing how many times you've told me I can't make you hate me.

I can't imagine why.

Oh, would you? You're so kind!

Some people are nicer to talk to than others, but it is rather nice here.

[smiles faintly, then goes back to folding with her] Not quite, no. My husband and his past self have a fortress here on the Plane. I'm just moving some of my wardrobe over there for easier access.

I don't hate you.

But it doesn't put me and the Master on the same scale.

Well, because a lot of people here think that killing people is bad, of course.

Oh, it's no problem. I couldn't imagine being locked up like that, so it's the least I can do. Ne, are there any particular brands you like?

Oh, yes. I've been told there's some that're dangerous, but everyone's been awful kind to me. It's a very pretty place, though it could use a tree or two to climb, if you ask me.

Oh, you have a place here? Didn't know that was possible. I thought everyone here was from someone else.

No, it doesn't. He's obviously better than you. [pauses her folding, picking at the fabric] Did you come to bother me or do you have something specific in mind?

[crosses arms and grins] Nope, here on an errand, that's finished. So I've got some time to bother you.
