001 - About Time

[Hey, it's about time Sokka found his way back on the plane after his stumbling in with Katara a few weeks back. The change of scenery doesn't throw him off as much this time since he's focused on something else.

[He's wearing a fire nation uniform and swinging around a rather unusual sword. The metal is a strange black and has a somewhat otherworldly quality to it. He moves with an above average amount of skill. He's by no means a master, but he's been training with one. After practicing the same movements for a while, the repetition starts to get to him and he begins to improvise on them a bit. His ability to add to the movements without breaking their fluidity is slightly more impressive than the movements themselves. He's thinking well on his feet.

[His improvisation goes too far all of a sudden and he loses his grip sending the black sword flying.]

My space sword!

[The sword hits the "ground" with quite a calamity a fair distance away. Sokka cringes and then hesitates for a minute.]

...I guess I have to go get it now.

[Much to his chagrin, he hoofs it over to where the sword landed.]

Boomerang: 1, Space Sword: 0

[Laughs and waves a hand.] Alright, maybe in your world it is practical.

[Sokka waits and observes. He doesn't know enough about this guy yet. He's gonna be defensive for now.]
